In my opinion the creature is a sociopath... It has feelings. No one teached him how to practice his love or his aggression. He was neglected, abused and wronged... People who become sociopaths are often neglected as children... A part of thier brain doesn't develop as a brain of a normal person. There is a probability he wouldn't be the way he is if he would have being treated better... Yet we will never know since psychopaths can be psychopaths even if they are not neglected and treated with kindness. The creature executed the villainy he was thought from people...

I'll be honest, I'm sick the guy being called a creature. Out of creative liberty, why not add more animal parts to give him more of a creature vibe?

Both actors were great. Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance was just heart wrenching.

And, when a father abandon’s that which he helped to create, do not ask why the child did not turn out so great.

It just so happens that he also based his skin crawling performance on the behaviour of people with autism. You know, the role where he played a humanoid creature crawling and sprawling naked on the floor trying to make sense of his surroundings while wearing a diaper?

The RAPE scene was completely unnecessary. It isn't in the book. Ruined the entire experience for me. No trigger warning? You should be ashamed.

I'm a little late everybody but if you want to see the version of Benedict Cumberbatch as the creature you can watch it in my channel. Also if some knows how to put subtitles it would be great to let me know in this comment or in the comments of the video, I want to make the experience as complete as possible. Anyway have a good day everybody and enjoy this masterpiece!

This was a truly Amazing production with superb acting. Johnny Lee Miller gave a brilliant performance as the monster. If it comes around again in your area I highly recommend seeing it. Since the actors switched roles on alternate nights I hope to see the other version sometime with Benedict Cumberbatch as the monster. Luckily this has been saved so it will be available in theaters from time to time.
