[REMASTERED] Gallery-DL - How to download complete galleries from DeviantArt?

The config thing had me confused, but this guide really helped me. Thank you.

When I get to the part where I type gallery-dl --clear-cache deviantart I get,

"gallery-dl is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." Any idea what I did wrong?

Edit: Never mind I think I fixed it.

Great video. I sucks at this so I am confused I already install this via executable from github. I don't know how to download anything with this. The tutorial on the website is confusing to me. Like "To use gallery-dl simply call it with the URLs you wish to download images ". Call it from where?? where do I put the command what program? Can you please help me?

Can locked galleries also be downloaded? I mean the ones that can be unlocked only after the subscription payment.

Does this download whole webpages or just images? Cuz it feels like I'm the only person interested in the actual webpages and every scraper is just for images/videos.

Note to some: If you don't have the errors he initially shows when setting up python, you can skip step 5 and go straight to step 6. You also don't have to install the path manually, newer editions of python do it automatically.
Another note for windows users: When installing the python path and trying to run it you might get the message.
"Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases."
You can look up app execution aliases in your settings and you'll have to turn off both python options to get it working properly. You'll also have to close the cmd window and open a new one for python to run.

The menu that comes up for me when I open environment variables is totally different and I'm completely lost as a result. The file path I get isn't nearly as long as yours

This is too hard to follow for beginners

gallery-dl and oauth is a joke. I did get it working the first time. W.o being a beginner. They over complicate to deter pervs and data pigs

This helped, I had to mess around by changing some stuff myself (possibly because of the windows 8 - 11 difference)
Unfortunately I got stuck on actually downloading from deviantart, I kept getting a refresh token is invalid error. But I was able to download from a different website, so thank you.
