I applied Singapore Saving Bonds via OCBC in May and to my pleasant surprise it sms me at 325PM, third day from last day the month, that I have successfully get full allocation. Today, I waited but UOB till now 1035pm nite still havent sms me of my application results. It did sms when I applied few days ago to acknowlege my application. I check my uob balance in the afternoon, part of my subscription refunded to my uob. Meaning i have not got full allocation. Why no sms nor email to inform the customers of outcome ? Will use OCBC to apply next month. Btw I tried to apply for my late dad CPF un nominated balance on 9 Nov 2023 but there is no response after I entered his NRIC on the 1st page. I screen shot the issue and emailed Public Trustee but till now 28 Nov still no reply. I emailed them few days ago too. Nope reply. Their auto email said normally they will reply 3 to 5 working days and may take longer to reply if complicated case. Its been almost 3 weeks. No sense of urgency. Singapore getting more and more slack. Or my case too complicated till they sweep under carpet ? Come on. Need my dad balances to pay his hospital bill. Can at least reply me or not ? My email id jasonlaick, email dated 9 November. Waiting for Christmas or CNY. Show some urgency. TO under Minister of Law.

You have to queue often for daily necessities, you queue for anything that’s free, whether its meals, face masks or hand sanitisers, you have no choice but to take public transport, you are exposed to more risk than usual.
