But sadly British food and dental care isn't faring any better at all 😂 just kidding
Ответитьit looks like a 10 USD watch bought from TEMU
ОтветитьCan you look at the accurist dive please!
ОтветитьJust like their cuisine, this is bland and uninspired. Reminds me of those clocks they'd give first graders to learn how to read handsets
ОтветитьThat dial is ugly as hell...and it's more expensive than it should be
Ответить450 to 990 POUNDS for this one hell of an incredibly ugly and cheap looking watch. 330 POUNDS for IKEA looking clocks. ARE YOU NUTS ? 🤣🤣🤣
PS. I wonder, how many watches or clocks this funny company is selling.
British watches have always been nice! Stirling, Rotary, Sheffield, etc... They have unique and awesome styles and designs. This is a very rad design and I dont mind the acrylic crystal. Its more impact resistant and I can buff out the scratches so it should be no problem! There is a lot on offer here for the price! The branding is done in a very cool manner as well! Thanks for sharing Kieran!
ОтветитьThat looks amazing.
ОтветитьI have booked marked the website. The watch dials have too much of a modern Art look. Nothing wrong with that, just not to my taste.
ОтветитьHands and dial is beautiful
ОтветитьOther than the movement, there is nothing about this watch that I like. Absolutely nothing. Ugly case, revolting and cheap looking dial, unsuitable bracelet and a silly brand name. I don't think I've ever seen a microbrand watch that elicited a "hell no!" reaction from me as quickly as this one. But maybe being so polarizing is a marketing tactic that can work for them. Better than yet another basic diver, I guess. I wish them success but it's sure as hell not for me.
ОтветитьI like them but they're out of my range, especially when you see the actual price including VAT.
ОтветитьThey didn't think that name through, it's very similar to the aliexpress brand Pierre Paulin.
ОтветитьAt that price point, so many better options out there. Not for me.
ОтветитьYes they are and always have been.
ОтветитьThat LJP movement is really nice. And actually looks pretty good too.
ОтветитьThe case looks a bit like a King Seiko case from the 60s.
ОтветитьUnique pretty cool im glad to see something not copied
ОтветитьThank you Kieran. I didn’t know of the brand but never seen this watch or knew all of this brand history before. It a really striking watch and I, like you think the acrylic crystal looks great on this one. There is a lot to appreciate here!!
ОтветитьExcept that it's entirely illegible, nice watch! 😂
ОтветитьI want to justify the watch price, but I can't. I feel like I could get a
fun watch that has a similar look in a Swatch, or a better look in a Mr Jones watch.
Thank you for bringing these to my attention. Love the funky colours and the fact that its a UK brand.
ОтветитьI love Anordain but the waiting time is ridiculous…… A deposit they hold onto for 3-4 years. 🤷🏻♀️ There are a few other very interesting enamel dialed watch brands.
Great video as always.
I love my Farer, Beaucroft, Christopher Ward and my Fox’s Fruits sweets. 😁😉
ОтветитьI love this brand, been wanting one for a while now
Ответитьlove the 70s look of this watch and the handset is so funky and cute
ОтветитьThanks Kieron for another heads up on a watch I've not seen before. I like it's simple design with a variety of colours, and you can have fun trying different straps. Personally I don't mind a brushed case so yes, I like these.
All the best mate 👍
The anOrdain Plum fume Mark 1 is an outstanding watch , this Paulin is an also ran that has no appeal to me.
ОтветитьAuOrdain is one of my dream watches. I love the saturated color. But prices beyond my pension. Thanks for mentioning this watch and the cheaper quartz version. As for anyone suggesting Ali Express forget it. No quality control or warranty. Buy items made locally and you multiply the economic effect.
Ответить900 pounds and no sapphire, there is just no excuse and i dont care about artisctic excuses.
ОтветитьLove the brown
ОтветитьIt's a bit pricey for what it is but I love the playful design and vibrant colours. Have my eye on the pink quartz model, hoping that they have a year-end sale 🤞
ОтветитьHi i love your vids, very informative with great views on time pieces, can you do a review on swan and edgar watches, they are a brand i came across recently, and i would love to know your views on there watches
ОтветитьAs a value proposition, this is a LJP G100 with the highest level of finishing, a german made dial, german strap, British assembly and regulation and all European packaging. Show me anything else under a grand which comes close to that, or two grand even?
ОтветитьVery 70’s vibe giving me Seiko 6139 and Braun mish-mash vibes. I am a fan of that case design.
ОтветитьI actually don't like the look of it. It's not for me.
ОтветитьI like how you assume we’ve never heard of one of the most common movements from Switzerland. 😂
The value is as absent from Paulin as it is from AnOrdain. This couple is gutsy. AnOrdain asks you for thousands of dollars and a 3-4 year wait and Paulin creates a $250 watch and asks you $800 for it. Very gutsy. I have a feeling I wouldn’t enjoy meeting them. I don’t like cash grabbers.
I've tried but I just can't get into the microbrand sector of the hobby. I just can't shake the 'parts bin special special' aspect. I don't know why I would choose something cobbled together with bits and pieces from Chinese factories when, for the same price, I can buy a Seiko, Citizen or Tissot. To me these microbrands are no different to cheap Aliexpress offerings. The components will all come from the same factories. They're just guys who choose generic parts, have them put together and then market them as something they're not. It really is just marketing. By the way, that brown watch looks bloody awful.
ОтветитьIt looks like a watch you'd buy at the Esso garage for a fiver back in the 1980s.
ОтветитьA yeah Britain (Shenzhen)
ОтветитьHonestly, it looks like a Mumbai special.
ОтветитьGotta say I dig the flat matte dial! Part of what makes the whole thing pop!
ОтветитьI love the colors!
ОтветитьI suspect money under the table, when you promote a piece of crap like this as the holy grail
The finish is despicable, strap cut from an old air mattress..., the design scream Hamleys.
You could assemble this watch with Aliexpress parts for 30 quid😑
But if you crave the look of a Mickey Mouse watch at an insane price, this must be for you.
