ОтветитьMy friend just had an aortic dissection and he is barely 40 years old, is physically active and not obese. I'm trying to find out why this may have happened to a person so young and I'm not finding any information other than Marfans (which he doesn't have) or EDS (which he also doesn't have). Any other possibilities that come to mind, anyone?
ОтветитьThank you sir 🤣🌈
ОтветитьThe same illness that killed Miura...
Ответить👏👏👏♥️
ОтветитьBeta blockers first then nitroprusside to prevent reflex tachycardia 👍
ОтветитьVery well explained! Thank you.
ОтветитьI had aortic dissection at 23 on 2017..its 2021 now.. I'll be back in 6 years!....maybe :)
Ответить🤍🤍🤍

ОтветитьBeta blockers to decrease tachicardia and BP, two for the price of one.
ОтветитьBest lecture ever
Ответитьبنحبك من ايچبت😂❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьSo beautiful so amazing keep going please
Ответитьwe should give na nitroprossuide first to prevent unopposed vasoconstriction
Ответитьstart with B-Blockers; if we start with Nitrates we'll have our heart beating fast and a little pre-load (little time for ventricular filling). we'll then have a little stroke volume. I don't know, correct me
ОтветитьHilarious
Ответитьamazing lecture video...its just wow.thank you so much
ОтветитьI can barely focus on the video 🤣
ОтветитьThat's pure informative comic relief! My mom was rushed into urgent surgery for aortic dissection and I wanted to know more about it. I fell on your video and it is the most hilarious super informative and kick ass vid on the topic! Thanks for putting such a great effort into it! I wish I studied medicine :)
ОтветитьBruh you know how to patch up! If you were at KABSOM, Uganda, you would be me
ОтветитьIt's scary
ОтветитьWhere are you from I'm in saskatchewan
ОтветитьThe dilated pupils 😭😭😆😆😆
ОтветитьAs it is aortic dissection, beta blockers are typically the first-line treatment to control blood pressure and prevent reflex tachycardia. Nitroprusside may be used in addition to beta blockers if needed to further control blood pressure.
ОтветитьThis video is everything!! 💕 SO good!
ОтветитьSilly me 😒
ОтветитьYou are the best!
ОтветитьThank you! 10 year survivor type B descending - Labetelol, HCTZ, and lisonopril and still under surgical size
ОтветитьDimon survived BTW
ОтветитьVery interesting and enjoyable lesson for such a complicated topic and easy to follow too. THANK you very much!
Ответить@6.50 you mentioned "A Tear in Media". Double checking with you, please correct me as I know it's "A tear in the Intima"
Ответить😂😂🥰
ОтветитьWOW
ОтветитьYou are great
Thank you Medicosis🤍
Thank you for this. I have an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm 4.5 cm and pain in my chest and back and they are taking their sweet time getting me an echocardiogram or TEE even, I am on zero meds, I found this because my Dr wasn't getting me in for a chest CT, my arteries in my neck feel swollen even and I am nauseated and sick every day, OH I PAID for the chest CT as I wasn't going to wait (Canada) even yet another month, and voila...I was right, it's serious, I didn't even say I told you so, didn't get the opportunity, as my GP informed me BY EMAIL and now I am waiting for the Aorta Disease Clinic to call, but I feel like we should move umm....faster? My Dr just sent me an email saying she didn't know much about it and to take a low dose aspirin and let her know if I got a nose bleed? what EVEN IS THAT. Sorry to go on here...just this was a good amount of info, as I don't understand the waiting for a full on dissection, what If I've already had on or the flap thingy etc etc (dammit Jim I'm a musician, not a Dr.) I've seen lecture after lecture saying that many dissections of the ascending aorta happen <5.0cm YET they still have us wait til 5.5cm OH AND ...NAH I won't go on...anyone in BC Canada and can find me a good GP to help with the Clinic and getting me in quicker? I am not being alarmist, I've already waited months and think something else may be going on with my heart as I have 1st degree peeps who all had heart stuff. Thanks
