Good video, but I would say that in regards to the club fitting aspect, you would want to be fit on something like GC Quad or Trackman, BUT the one thing you didn’t mention about the Rapsodo was you can see your swing AND you can turn on impact vision and get a slow motion replay of your club going into the ball at impact. This feature is so much better than some of the other units for path because you can literally see it and you can also see a true representation of your lie angle along with club defection at impact. Thanks for the content, keep it up.
ОтветитьWhat type of golf net is that?
ОтветитьSoftware as a service is fine - if it costs another company money to keep providing the infrastructure and services behind the scenes. This sounds more like feature licensing and at 200$ year on year costs ??? So if you can find a shop doing a more expensive unit on a payment plan that doesn’t require ongoing costs - it’s probably a much better choice ?
ОтветитьHi Jon, I actually purchased this unit after watching your video. I also just noticed after watching this again you switched to an inside screen when doing the accuracy numbers. I know myself and a lot of others are getting distance issues when using a net. Are you able to do an accuracy test with your net instead of the screen?
ОтветитьGreat video, what hitting mat are you using?
Ответитьgood stuff, i'd much rather have this compared to trackman or BLP or GC3. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThat one year subscription BS is a deal breaker for me.
ОтветитьDid you duff that last shot?
ОтветитьYou should have compared it to one of the expensive trackers so we know it’s real accuracy
ОтветитьIf you’ve got half an understanding or reason to buy these launch monitors. Club path and face to path must be 50% or a few of the most important data points required? And maybe I’m mistaken but it doesn’t give this? Where the Garmin R10 does without membership? Possibly I’m wrong.
ОтветитьI'm still undecided between the Rapsodo and the Garmin. The Garmin is $200 cheaper as of 11/25/23, but Garmin does not have the camera and that seem important to me. I don't like paying $200 a year. I would like to set up an indoor simulator at some point but I don't care about having hundreds of golf courses to play.
ОтветитьWasn’t quite sure from the video but does the shot tracer feature work indoors? When comparing the two metrics I didn’t see it on the screen. Thanks for the help.
ОтветитьIm looking into buying either this or the garmin r10, has anybody else been in this situation and which did u go for and any regrets?
Will be In the garage so not bothered about taking it on course etc and my local range has trackman installed so isn't required there either.
I think accurate shot shaping would be beneficial for me to practice also however I've only been playing a few months so isn't that important yet
Great video! But in your side-by-side comparison to the Mevo+, I’d trust the MLM2 spin results more than the Mevo+ (which uses the RCT balls for best spin). A more fair comparison would be to a premium camera unit like the GC3 or even BLP.
ОтветитьWould this be a good choice if I just want to entertain guests and play some rounds of golf indoors?
ОтветитьCould you tell me where you got your outdoor net?
ОтветитьIf I usually hit a slice will this device show you that slice? I’ve always wondered if this is something that is picked up by these devices. I only see good shots when videos are posted.
ОтветитьHey Jon, how did you find the mlm 2 pro at the range? I used to have the R10 but found it barely usable when trying to play courses at the range. The ball flights were all over the place. Did using range balls have an impact on the reliability of the numbers in your opinion? Cheers!
ОтветитьOwn one myself - love it, but only used it twice as the last couple months have been playing as much actual golf as possible before the winter hits, but planning to get a lot out of it over the winter in the nets at my club - especially to dial in wedge numbers with full, 3/4, 1/2 swings. Great to see someone I respect a lot speak highly of it too.
ОтветитьWhat‘s your opinion on shot shaping when playing into the net? Does ist get a draw/cut correctly?
Ответитьcomparing to a meevo is fine, but you should have put it against the gold standard Flightscope GC2 quad.
ОтветитьSo what is the option you would recommend for club path? I am not a coach but I think club path is something I need to track to get the most out of a launch monitor. Thanks!
ОтветитьAm I right there there's no way to do clubhead speed measurement without a ball? i.e. you cannot use it for swing speed training?
ОтветитьNice review. I didn’t go for this one but it does hit a good price point. I went with a GC3. Anyone looking into the MLM2 Pro should maybe compare to the Bushnell Launch Pro (BLP) before making the jump. The BLP is the subscription version of the GC3. It’s pricier than the MLM2 Pro still though. Why do I like the GC3? Compact single unit that accurately measures everything including putting, so you get the full practice and sim experience. What don’t I like? You need a gaming laptop for the software, although they have some iPad apps that are useful. The sim courses are great, especially the new FSX Play courses.
ОтветитьNice review Jon. I have one it’s very good but I haven’t used it much 😢. Any suggestions for getting the most out of it ?
Ответить$199.00 a year?
ОтветитьHow do you compare it to the Garmin r10. What would you recommend? Is it with the extra £150-£200 pound to get the mlm2?
ОтветитьWhat camera do you use? Looks awesome!
