Almost 40 years old and I still love the lyrical imagery as much as back then when I first heard this greasy, gutter rock masterpiece. Saw them live in the beginning, before all the tantrums and whatnot. Axl busted his ass in the beginning, lol, probably effed up, but they proceeded to put on a great show. They were better than Crue, the headliner, but that was when Nikki especially was all FUBARed on bad bad things, and it showed in his playing. Anyway, AFD is one of those few collections of songs that I can start and not skip one song. All meat, no filler.
