Excellent work! Very strong depiction of the danger of mental health and depression when not addressed properly. I talk of personal experience, I almost ended my life, but with medical help and the strong support of family and friend, I’m enjoying so many sunrises and sunset. It’s a battle that we have to resources to fight! Just don’t stay in the dark, talk about the issues! ❤️🙏🏼

I just watched the movie Hara Kiri. WOW! BETO and August, two close friends who died together but loved each other, too. I'll probably have to watch it a second time. I almost that I missed something initially. Is this available on DVD?

One of the worst Glass Door productions I have seen. I mean, if you cant establish a mood and shot in a few scenes, don't force and hour of meaningless dialog and B role footage on your viewers. And get rid of the GoPro and work on your editing. Great actors but terrible writing.

Really reminded me of old school films with barely any plot but was more about the feeling. Would of liked to see them show more affection to one another as they are supposed to be lovers. Interesting film tho.

Brilliant! just came across this movie today. I couldn't stop watching. Two troubled souls. It was dark, sublime, yet hauntingly Beautiful! Yes, Darkness can be beautiful. I felt sad that this was their only option but at the same time how incredibly beautiful and romantic, the idea of being together for ever and ever. This life is so transitory. Death is only the beginning! ❤ This movie stirred every emotion,
love, hate, fear, fearlessness, happiness, anger, & sadness. Thank you, this film did what it was intended to do. Brilliant cinemantography!

A successful experiment... I'm having a hard time coming up with words to express how I feel about this film. At first I wanted to complain that oh here's another gay love story that ends in tragedy and haven't we seen enough of those. And then it occurred to me that this film is different and that is that the characters don't attribute the despair they're feeling with their relationship or their apparent sexuality and the audience isn't made to feel that way either as well as no character in the film expresses those negative attitudes. Think that was a pretty hard thing to achieve with a largely and obviously improved script so to speak. As sad as it is it is a beautiful film and I loved watching these two actors and the chemistry between them. I really feel like I was pulled into their world sadly I saw it as a grand love story that the characters chose their fate. I wouldn't call this a tragedy other than the commentary that in this modern world it's getting increasingly difficult to actually choose their fate that doesn't end in death which is the fate we all share with the only real way to determine any part of that is perhaps when just as these characters have decided. It is a bit Romeo and Juliet and away that one of them thinks there's a way out that doesn't involve death but realizes they can't convince their partner otherwise and choose to go with them because they can't bare to be without them or to break a promise they made to them. It's clear that Berto isn't sure about the whole thing despite any thoughts you might have had prior to it and it's also clear that August has certainly made-up his mind. It's beautiful that they stick together despite these massive cavernous distance between the two turns out isn't any distance that matters between them and that's a beautiful thing. Perhaps in order to appreciate life we have to experience times when we don't wanna live it or heaven near death experience OR perhaps we're supposed to realize what people are facing and how hard it is to climb out from underneath that pile was sadly love just not being enough when you're facing the type of depression that August obviously feels and perhaps Berto but I'm not so sure about that. At least that's my interpretation of it and perhaps one of many. I think the title is extremely appropriate if one knows the full meaning behind the Japanese word. Of course I would have rather seeing these two skate off into the sunset, but I did enjoy the journey what little of these lives we got to see. I still wish we'd see a lot more queer films that don't end in death or suffering for the characters, but as I said I just can't quite lump this film into that group despite its ending.

Sad film, it shows the difficulties of two young guys lives path, too many dreams, too many dreams, an selfish and alcoholic mother that never couldn’t tell her boy that she loves him. A nice movie full of drama and very sad ending.

I didn't enjoy this movie. I don't really mind a sad movie, but the scenes were too long following what the lead actors do in a day which was basically nothing productive.

The suicide scenes needs more artistic touches
