what I heard was that they weren't going to pay him royalties for when they shot this promo so he decided to make a trash beat so they definitely would not pay him for that beat he made.It's not definitive but that's whats circling around the web. Rza's weapon of choice at the time was an mv-8800, it was his primary machine..he was like an unoffical brand ambassador for roland mv-8000/8800 or maybe he was official because he did videos for it as well . he definetly was trolling beat thang for a check😂

Sometimes I compare beats to other producer's. Some of their beats are mindblowing. It make you want to quit. But then I say to myself. I'm super dope too and just make music and be creative. One of my subscribers commented and said I should never stop making music. That made me realize. I bring something unique to Hip Hop. Thanks for this video.

With a guitar sample like how RZA normally do. The Beat Thang machine is kinda Club Dance style. If he made a dance style, it would have been ok.
