These movies are so ridiculously stupid.

I like practical stunts but i hate it when all the real stuff is covered in cheap cgi to melt it with the rest…

i completely stopped watching fast n furious when paul died but nice cgi affects i guess

The final shot still looks overly processed and fake after taking all this time to do most of it practically.

They do all of this but then fill the shot with ridiculous fireballs in post and add that stupid blurry filter on top with cranked saturation to make everything look like it was full CGI anyway. Plus the story's stunts have become so absurd that there isn't a shred of reality left in the past couple of entries.

But y all the stress

So much wasted money and stuff for it too looks as fake as if it was CGI.

The sad part is that after all this money and effort it actually looks like CGI and not like it was done for real

No physics no gravity nothing at all

If you're using rigs to break physics and move cars in ways that make no sense at all you may as well go full cgi

still looks like a cgi shot, I feel bad for the actual cars being destroyed for such shitty plot

Fun Fact: Vin Diesel is a fan of Dungeons and Dragons which was how he bonded with director Justin Lin back during development of Tokyo Drift. This might explain why they became the Avengers (note that this happened by the 5th film in 2011. At the time, the Avengers film wouldn't be released for another year).

It's actually impressive to make practical stunts and effects look fake and CG.
I honestly think the scenes would look better if they wouldn't touch up on them too much in post. Because the final shots end up looking CG anyways, there's barely any of that imperfection of the practical stunts left.

this franchise should have been sued ad nauseam by the gov't for all the deaths resulting from the illegal street racing it promoted. how many yahoo's (and innocents) have been killed by incompetent jack-wads crashing their piece of crap Nissan's? the gaming industry as well that trained teenage shooters to kill their victims with a head shot. they should be sued into oblivion as well..

The editing for this movie was not great. Story… trash. Great work for stunt crew thou

I absolutely love practical effects. But the first stunt was absolutely ruined through the camera work. It looks CG.
