Special thanks to Rudolf Gantenbrink for allowing me to publish this. It’s been an honour to speak with him.

My theory on the shafts is they are water channels. As the pyramid blocks are stacked higher and higher it allows for water to easily be delivered to the inner chambers, without having to haul water up to and through to the grand gallery.

Not just for drinking water, but for lubricant for what I imagine would be polishing (lapping) the stone surfaces in the chambers.

If polishing the Queens chamber was finished prior to reaching the outer face, they wouldn’t need completion to the exterior. Why they were sealed with a relatively intricate locking capstone, and not just stacked over, I can’t really explain. Maybe so debris falling in was less likely.

The Kings chamber follows this logic, but might have required more time to complete the polishing as there is less space for workers to place stones as the top‘s surface area decreases as they built up, so the shafts reached the exterior surface.

Is there a slight bend to the right at 48m18 and just before we see the elevated block? We can also see a camera shot to the right that shows the wall slightly changing angle, or am I mistaking.
Could it be that: On both sides before the next bottom elevated block, the sides were shaved. Was it to allow the lower floor block to come in a bit diagonally below a upper block already in place?

Talk about ancient: The title of this channel is "Ancient," the pyramids are ancient, and this episode is equally as ancient.
What a waste of time, watching an hour long documentary on an obsolete, 30+ year old discovery.
At least that info was buried in the end part of the description, so I didn't waste my time watching it.

Thirty one years later, and other than drilling a hole in the door, and finding another door on the otherside, nothing was ever released to the public on what was found beyond the second door. The Egyptian government and the Archaeology Society have stopped further investigations. Why?

Upuaut Was just the tip of an iceberg of miniature robots the scares Egyptologist to death !!! We now have fly & crawl models , complete with cameras etc...., capable of accessing areas of pyramid's & other ancient structures , that could be used to answer & solve many Q'S that have been posed for a century & more , & the archeology community is scared senseless of being made irrelevant by them & their makers !!! Foot dragging & restricting & denying their usage , has & will continue to occur , by these nonscience scientist !!! Where theory & speculation rule the day !!!

"the red marks were made in the quarry to show the miners where to cut" is the most absurd thing I've heard in a long while. Firstly, how the fuck would anybody know that? Stating such wild speculation with so much confidence is super cringe. Next, you expect me to believe that these stones were cut to such precision all the way back at the quarry, so that hundreds of stones could all fit together in near perfect precision to make this shaft? Instead of being organized on site?!?

I'm only 5 min in but. If I recall, this is the video that proves Zawi Hawass is a criminal and theif. The brass handles/spikes at the end of that tunnel shiw them nearly complete. Zawi showed difficulty to explore more. Later in future explorations videos show thise very same brass fittings to be broken/missing and a mystery as to how.
This is one example and I believe there are more instances of zawi's questionable behavior.

I would say I’d love to be a fly on the wall, but did you see the size of that spider 😮 pass! 😅

Are they the wrong way round... did you see that step before the ‘door’/plug, it was an ill fitted thick slab... wasn’t it? 🤷‍♀️ the plug never to be opened from the other side to hide some thing in that shaft.... sorta thing 😅
I thought the crack was large enough to see under too deeply... another possible shaft? 🤷‍♀️
Where they pouring a liquid down these shafts?
Perhaps I’m getting too imaginative now 😂

Really enjoyed this, thank you 🕊

Why does everyone call this a door? It's literally 8-12 inches. Have any other blocks ever been found inside pyramids with copper lugs? I have no idea or presumption about what they are but I do know what they aren't. They aren't doors.
