Wow a 7 lol I walked after an hour
Ответить😂too asleep by the last 40 mins to care bp?😂
ОтветитьIts El Pha Ba after the original Oz Author L Frank Baum.
ОтветитьI didn't like the flying monkeys part either, for me the lull had been going on for a while and even got worse when they visited the Wizard. Definitely way too long . It is a bad idea to divide the musical into two movies , if you ask me . Ariana Grande is easily the best of the movie, great performance. The age of the students is post doctorate to say the least.I am a fan of musicals. Thank you for the review Pauly.
ОтветитьLooks awful I’ve no interest in seeing this
ОтветитьWhat about wonka wasn't that a musical, didn't you like that unoriginal reboot
ОтветитьYou would love mean girls(2024) all the songs In that are great there right up your street. Lol 😂😂
ОтветитьThanks for the review but wont be watching this one not my type can imagine it being woke
Ответить7 sounds generous from what you said. I'm not sure how you'll get hold of it, but you'll have to watch Return to Oz now, from what I've heard, that sounds better than Wicked
ОтветитьThink you missed lion king out of your favourite musicals Paul haha
ОтветитьI think we was very much aligned as I said in my review... defo was super stretched and a lot of singing but its the first half of a broadway show and they turned that into 2hrs 40mins of movie! Defo way too much. I actually said Arianna was just playing Arianna and there was no difference in her as a person. But totally agree I gave it 3.5/5 which is exactly how you rated it at 7/10
ОтветитьThanks for the review have a Cineworld pass so have to give it a viewing cannot be as dull as conclave 👍
ОтветитьLooks awful and I have absolutely no interest in seeing this.
ОтветитьI like Wicked
ОтветитьAs someone who has seen Wicked on tour and also seen Part 1, I would say that of the two female leads, Elphaba is the more interesting character because of the continuous discrimination she has faced since birth and the transition into a baddie.
Thinking about recent musicals on screen, I have to say the worst one I’ve seen was Clint Eastwood’s take [as director] on Jersey Boys. I don’t even remember anything about that film since I went to my local cinema. Absolutely nothing, Big Pauly.
Blue's Brother's. Great musical 😊
ОтветитьYou’ll have to watch Mulanrougue
ОтветитьNice video
ОтветитьYes, Elpheba is the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz - Glinda/Galinda is the Good Witch of the North (combined the South and North from the original book to cut down on characters).
I'm strongly thinking Glinda is all 'populaity queen' like early Cordelia etc because that is a strong part of US (especially) High School culture... see the Breakfast Club for the Princess, the Brain, the Jock, the Basket case and the Criminal as groups that are identifiable groups in most schools which this is parodying... if you weren't aware it isn't Disney introducing the anti-bullying, rights abuses, discrimination etc. (and in part 2, <spoiler>political backstabbing and power grabbing); that's the point of the original.
You say you're not a fan of musicals so you were never likely to enjoy 'speak a bit... have a song... speak a bit... have a song...' because essentially that's the definition (if there was no speaking at all it's Opera!)... I'm glad they didn't drop any songs, whichever they had is always someone's favourite and with a film this long they can't say they were pressed for time. That said even the classics sometimes do, and many don't realise. I recently saw Oliver! on stage and discovered it had 2 or 3 songs that were taken out for the famous film version.
Chicago is what I strongly suspect you saw with Catherine Zeta-Jones ... also Renée Zellweger and Richard Gere - I've seen the stage musical but haven't got around to the movie adaptation yet.
Thanks for the review!👍
I don't find your Ariana name botch funny. She is the GOAT of female singers. And as for being annoying, do you have a mirror?
