Being a 911 operator, I'm not justifying what this idiot did because he was absolutely WRONG!!! But the biggest problem with 911 dispatchers that NO ONE will ever understand unless you've actually done the job, is that they've become desensitized so much. It's not on purpose, but when you constantly take deadly calls, or calls where someone's life is in your hands and they end up unaliving, it takes a HUGE toll on your mind and body!! Again, I don't agree with how he handled it, but I can somewhat understand.

That is insane. The lady wasn't even trying to be rude, she was just frustrated having to repeat herself in a critical situation knowing her friend didn't have long left. If you can't handle that, definitely don't be a 911 dispatcher.

She used the f word with the operator because he was not listening. He asked the same question again and again, she would answer but he would ask again. I would not like to be in the operator´s shoes as his decision to hang up had a fatal impact on another human being.

This is fake of course. The dispatcher is not OBLIGATED to talk to you. He sends ambulance the moment he decides the call is real and urgent. He stays on the phone just to calm you, and thats why hes asking questions like "Whats your name, how old are you" etc. None of that has no medical relevance at ALL. EXCEPT for calming you.

He sent an ambulance immediately as he heard her trying to keep him alive. And hes actually trying to talk to her to calm her. Its ok she snapped, she thinks hes not listening, but thats simply how theyre trained to talk to people. They tell you to.... idk what..... go check his pulse, go ....outside the house and wave at the emergency car, go..... turn off the gas or something. Just so they make you ocupied and not panic or worry. They started coming immediately, and its not like he hung up on her and told her theyre not coming now. Its just that he hung up because he was offended hes trying to help and she swears. He is not a medical worker, dont forget that. He is JUST a guy who decides on medical vehicle sending
