from what i know i think you need to add story,drama,adventure and your feelings to vlog to make it 10x better. vlogging is not walking and talking to a camera. also make sure to use creative camera shots to make it unique

Not gonna lie. on my vlog channel, I use it as my "volley" ball after I got yeeted out of my X girlfriend's life. It helps me feel less alone an unimportant. Its not doing well at all but its fun and straight forward.

Vlogs are not dead

I find Vlogging is more of a personal journaling approach. Some people that do it are only doing it for the sake of recording and “logging” whats been going on. Its a great way to navigate your own personal success, and its especially great for when you pass away and you want the people close to you to have something they can watch daily. Theres no such thing as a video format that “works”… if you made it and your happy with it, than thats it, thats the end. If your marketing the media you produce, then its a different story, but if your starting for that reason in the first place then its certainly not for you. The shallowness of your content will eventually show itself even if it does go viral, as you’ll cling so desperately and dearly to “whats working” that even if something changes in your viewer flow, you’ll then begin to blame it on the algorithm or something your doing… so you will eventually be making videos not for yourself, but for what the viewers want to see, and frankly this is the hugest issue, in social media right now.

Maybe people just like vlogging?? This analogy is like saying people shouldn't play tennis because they are not going to turn pro, doesn't make much sense unless your ONLY goal is to grow, which is kinda of lame

I think "Vlogging is dead" in the sense of nowadays earning enough money to live and travel just from this kind of income on, what in the 2010s was realistic to be achieved, exempt the vloggers who started building already an audience as early as the 2010s. There are so many Vloggers on You Tube already that the people are bored already to watch it.
