Even though it was an ill-fated romance, Mason should have ended up with Mary somehow. Retroactively, I wish they could have brought Mary back somehow when Lane Davies exited the series in 1989 and just written Mason and Mary together off into the sunset. Could never really buy into the Mason-Julia relationship. He just never looked at her the way he looked at Mary.

This clip is amazing. Santa Barbara is my favorite one out of all the Daytime " stories". Mason is so bloody good. This scene is so romantic. Mason was great wtih Mary, Julia, everyone. It´s funny though, I don´t remember Jon Lindstom ever beeing on SB. I liked him better on Port Charles.
