This reminds me of a disease I learned about called Guillian-Barre Syndrome. I saw some people saying she got polio, but the daughter would have got it too if it was polio. So Guillian-Barre seems to fit... And it's tragic. They wouldn't have had the means of helping recovery back then.

This song always gets me.

My sister loved to dance and play, but due to several health issues, she ended up becoming quadriplegic over time. And she did just this; she moved on to singing.

She got me to play games with her, and made me promise when she got her hands back, I'd teach her how to use the controller.

When our parents died, I took over the role and adopted her. Which just meant I could see her struggle to improve.

She passed away right before Halloween 2 years ago, and I still miss her everyday. She would have loved this song, and it's brings me comfort to think that she's probably still playing now, somewhere.

One question are all of them related to her by blood in some way

We've all thought that everyone was dumb before though honestly the part where it says disappointment takes us by surprise is just the truest thing ever

This song has a powerful message. Dont let what ever is happing to you stop you from reaching your dream. Find different ways to achieve it .

This reminds me of my grandma, always movitional making me keep going and going, but i got too focused on whatever the hell i was doing and didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. R.I.P grandma✊🏼

I recently put this playlist onto my spotify and it has been so long since I heard this song i started to cry. This song definitely ment a lot to me when i first listenened to it because I am also slowly becoming paralyzed, but now that it has gotten worse this song just hits even harder.
