S2fm looks good and all, but it lacks that STOCKHOLM SYNDROME that the OG had
ОтветитьPNGtuber, not watching + "do not reccomend channel"
ОтветитьHoly shit this makes me really feel like I can make animations and stuff! It’s like Mine-Imator but not just Minecraft!!! (I’m talking like 2013 Mi cuz that’s the last time I used it)
ОтветитьThis is great, I actually use SFM and hope to get S2FM😥

ОтветитьI might be wrong, but you might need to build a map in hammer then load it in SFM in order to use the rest of the lighting effects source has to offer in source film maker.
ОтветитьI feel like you really didn't do SFM justice in this one. In S2FM you used far more models so it looks less boring, the first poster is incredibly bare-bones compared to the second one. You also used more lights. Now I'm not saying I am a professional when it comes to SFM but I'd say it was a skill issue in the first poster.
You could have added some faint blood textures somewhere on the robot -perhaps from a previous victim-, so faint as to make someone asks themselves; "is that really a thing or is it just me ?".
You could have also added a leg or an arm somewhere on either side of the screen at the very front, just barely in shot. Or idk, just more details in general, not just a landscape, a robot and a human.
The silhouette lighting is good, but you can't possibly tell me that's creative or that it can compete with the lighting from the second poster, even if you remove the fact that S2FM has more types of light. Just the way it is placed and worked with in the second one is superior.
Making the first poster only out of silhouettes is simply limiting.
You could've done far more in the first poster but didn't.
SFM is really not that bad if you put in the effort and especially if you edit the image. Besides, there are literally so many scripts and add-ons on the workshop that improve your SFM by a lot. They can make working in SFM easier and can improve quality. For example, did you know that there's a script that you can set up to auto-save everything at an interval of your choice ? Now that's just convenient, isn't it ?
Or that there's a script that makes your focal distance focus on a bone, which makes things a lot easier to work with and improves the final result ?
There's also an add-on that let's you use up to 127 shadowed lights.
S2FM is far better, but if you put in the effort you can make an SFM poster compete with it.
s2fm doesnt have ao tho :(
ОтветитьId say that when ti comes to real animations sfm has s2fm beat just by eh models that come with sfm, it is considerably easier to use tf2 models to animate than half life models, plus tf2 models better lend themself to rigs
Ответитьi knew sfm from fnaf xd
ОтветитьDaaaaam this looks amazing
ОтветитьWhich one is best
ОтветитьIt all making in source filmmaker
Ответитьhonestly your funny asf so just for that ill sub
ОтветитьMe trying to learn blender hearing about this
And deciding not to move because blender is FOSS and from what I know source filmmaker is just use others models but mainly blender more powerful and FOSS
I just recently bought HLA ONLY to get my hands on S2FM. Since I don't have VR, I don't care at all about the game. Luckily for me the game had a price reduction. I really want to get started using it, but I want to know how s2fm handles a tool that I use A LOT in SFM.
Override Materials.
For example, I don't know if S2FM allows me to use an integer like $risframe. Which I use to make irises shrink on certain models. Is this option still available on S2FM ?
Its pretty cool seeing you load in models because if i do it my sfm crashes
ОтветитьOne good thing is that I moved from SFM to Blender, I recommend to try learning blender
