Is it neccesary to point out so many times that you have only heard about TCM, and have never watched any of their videos and..
It doesn't make yourself bigger, if you talk others smaller 🙈

What’s very crazy is that I feel like I could relate to you. I’m 17, look up to Kevin mitnick, and I’m trying hard to find anything cybersecurity related to become a good future hacker.

So about the TCM course, do I need to understand basic computer troubleshooting or networking before taking the course?

I really appreciate your recommendations especially your advices regarding the different paths for blue team and red team. I am about to graduate and get my Bachelor’s in Computer Science. I am also currently working on the Google Cybersecurity certificate. I like this certificate a lot since it is very beginner friendly as you said. My question is which should I take first the Practical Ethical Hacker or the Blue team level 1? I want to be an ethical hacker/pentester, but I am also not sure if it is for me. Also, another question, would it be faster to get my foot on the door of cybersecurity through blue team like cybersecurity analyst or SOC analyst? I really appreciate what you do and your videos. I have watched most of your content. I’m just thankful for being a mentor to us. I hope that you would be able to answer as I want to take the next step.

There's a book which I find to be a very useful guide for anyone who want to get in this field, it's called "The Pentester Blueprint" by Philip Wylie.

Hi UbixGuy,
I've been a system administrator (MCSA - Microsoft's) for two years now, and I'm very interested in CyberSecurity in the field - PenTest, do you recommend starting with Comptia+Security and then eJPT?
Or skip Comptia+sec and continue towards eJPT.
I will take the best recommendation from you.
Thanks!

Hey UnixGuy, do you have an opinion on the Zero Point Security certs like CRTO and CRTP? For example, do you think it would be better to take them before, or after the OSCP? Thank you.

I no college degree and no it experience, I do know a bit of html and css and how to set up a basic website.

I want to go into penetration testing. Where does someone like me with zero background or skills start learning from the very bottom, and how long can I expect to be learning before I'm job ready?

As someone who's 36, this sounds like an awesome career path and exciting as I've always loved networking and computers since I was 10 years old. But let's me honest am I too old at this point to really have a chance and not just be laughed out before ever getting in? Honest question recently went through some life changes diagnosed with PTSD and a new career path is a must.

Hi, I currently work at an MSP and have been there for over 5 years now who are wanting to start deploying more cyber security focussed structure to our clients.
I have been tasked with creating our security stack and selling to clients/managing our cyber team within our business.
What do you suggest I do to move into this role better? I feel I have a good broad knowledge of IT systems but regarding security I am still quite new.
Are there any certs I should specifically do to increase my own knowledge to fill this role? Should I learn pen testing in order to learn how to defend against it etc? Just looking for some guidance on how to take on this role and use this opportunity to get into this more and earn myself more money for the future. Thanks

Hey brother greetings for the day, a great video as always no doubt in that. I want to ask is that I am confused in what should I pursue should I go with Penetration Testing or Cloud Security, like I have interest in both and really confused, when I think about one I have a FOMO of other. Now I want to prepare for cert but I am confused like for which to prepare, eJPT or AWS from cloud guru. Thanks.
Edit: Also, which has great future?

Your videos are great! I got a CIS degree I know some universities call it MIS. I heard it’s a good degree if you get some certs to break into cybersecurity. I’m not sure where to start. I want to a penetration tester. Juggling between going to WGU to get some base knowledge or get ejpt then oscp and then break into the industry.
