Logic Pro X Tutorial | How to Record Kontakt in Logic Pro X - 2018

Thanks Jun:This was very helpful. My issue is I am trying to record Pedal Steel (Native Instruments) with Kontakt 7 in Logic Pro 10.7.7 via MIDI. When I play or record it on my keyboard I can hear the single notes AND the harmony. Unfortunately, it is only RECORDING the single notes. It does not record the harmony notes. That is the most important part of the pedal steel sound. The green MIDI window only shows the single notes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question.
Kontakt drum patterns and particle synthesizers don’t record in Logic Pro. I can see the sound in the meters but when I record it leaves a blank region. I can’t creat a sound file directly from Kontakt so I can’t drag it into the DAW either. I am very frustrated. It seems like these functions are essentially useless as a result

Hi - I have just bought Kontakt and was so excited to play the Grandeur, but it is only playing sound out of middle C and the upper range notes. Any suggestions why this might be happening?

hi I can't seem to plug my midi to it, do u know what I am supposed to do?

Any idea what to do if there is no sound from kontakt instruments? I can see logic respond to my midi player and records the keys but no sound present at all.

Hello, when I play back the track I don't get any sound. Checked everything in main settings Mac and Logic Pro for the output. Why don't I hear any sound?

Your microphone sounds bad, you should check the levels or buy a better one. Also the background music is too loud when you're talking. I really like your videos but those 2 things should be fixed!
