Nice, video, I'll have to add that one to my software collection.. I've been using "EaseUS Partition Master" for years to do clones, and I have zero issues.. I have a question, since you have EaseUs, why not use it to clone drives.. I about every 6 months do a fresh install using the latest update and cloning it, so if I have any issues that my backup files can't fix, I always have my clone to use..
we have a home server (NAS) which we mostly have media (all our favorite movies & TV shows), Family pictures, important files, medical records & my wife & I both have our main computers backs up our complete systems daily.. With 100 terabytes of NAND NVMe M.2 SSD (25 @ 4TB each) I'm like you.. I don't ever want to lose any data, 15 years ago, I lost over half of our very important files cause I was cheap and didn't think I would lose any.. I was a very cocky tech. I learned my lesson, now, LOL I spent about $4,000.00 on my nas with nothing but the top shelf hardware.. Sorry to have rambled on there.. Love your channel, even if I know how to do something, I still watch, so I can see another perspective or be reinsured by watching you doing exactly what I would do.. Thank you for sharing...
P.S.
Instead of re-cloneing why not just run both operating systems and log on to what ever one you need for the video or for whatever you are working on..

I was using Macrium Reflect all this while until they said they will stop supporting free version after this year. tested out DiskGenius and it worked great too, cloned drive booted right up. Macrium Reflect clones sometimes needed to boot using rescue media first and tick some fixes before they work.

This is exactly how I clone drives, works well. The only problem with cloning is you clone all of the issues with Windows with it. Most people just have Chrome, Office, Adobe Reader, and their data. In this case a reload of Windows is cleaner and faster. Cloning might be good for complex systems with a 100 apps on it but would challenge that a reload would generally be faster

Another thing is I had been using AOMEI Backerupper for a while. I downloaded it again and when I clicked 'clone' drive up pops up a screen telling me I had to buy it.
Anyone ever had that problem with AOMEI Backerupper?

Good Video. I generally use an older free version of Mini Tool Partition wizard.9.0 or 10.0 before they took away the closing wizard from the free version. I also use the partiton wizard in Mini Tool as easier to do the partition mods in a windows environment. For disk cloning if neither the source or the target is your current windows drive it will do the clone in windows. If the source is the windows version your are currently booted on the software will bring up a box to reboot into a pre windows environment to do the clone. Have been using this combination for years. Mini Tool partion wizard free version 9.0 seems to work the best for me.

When you try to clone a disk with an operating system, from ssd to hdd or hdd to ssd, ssd to m2 etc, the only software that really clones and always works is MiniTool Partition Wizards. You always have problems with the rest of the software, whenever you want to clone the operating system and want it to work

Ok being an IT Security Professional i have done hundreds of clones over my career. And to be honest, i have reached a point that software based cloning programs are just constant problems for me. I have used all the high end software programs; Acronis, Mozilla, and many more just to be let down in the end when it states that the clone was successful but actually wasn't. The problem that i encounter time and time again is that when i install the new cloned disk - it will not boot.

So the best way to maximize your profits and use the least amount of time is just to buy a hardware cloning machine that can perform this same operation bit for bit outside of the computer. For $50.00, it makes the whole process a no-brainer and you never have to worry that the cloned disk not booting. Time is money and if i had a dime for everytime these cloning softwares said they would work, i would be retired living a tropical island. Hardware cloning is the answer.

Why not have separate drives in the computer you don’t have to use nvme drives especially for video demonstrations and just use the boot manager to pick between a windows 10 install and a windows 11 one or you could do separate partitions on the 1 drive

A problem I recently encountered on installing a cloned Windows 7 drive into a failed machine is that on boot the machine thinks it's an unregistered copy, and there is now apparently no way to register Win 7, even though I have the correct product key.
I can still use the machine, although with limited MS features and a repeated nag popup.
