Seriously the first place people should look. Try different channels, this applies to 5ghz range as well. I doubled my speed just by switching channels on my router. (and this is 6 years after the video was posted)

This information is only useful for a WIRELESS connection, it won't do anything for WIRED connections. Good info though.

You should also be change your channel width 20 to 40 Mhz if you are having single band router.
