Transcode FASTER | PLEX Media Server

I have mounted 8GB of my ram as a drive.

Completely wrong, use ram for transcoding folder!

Could you help me because when my server deletes it immediately when it transcodes once when they stop the movie

the problem with plex there is never ever playback speed ever...

Way much faster, if you using RAM drive for transcoding.... 4 or 5 Gb will be alright for beginning.... For transcode use an Nvidia Tesla card

I use IMDisk to do RAM Transcoding. I have 40GB or RAM on my server, so I allocate 20 of that for transcoding. Helps with Live TV as well.

/tmp rite to the ram instead wayy faster and plex doesnt use much ram to begin with.

And with that you'll be replacing your ssd quite often

Hei, do you know how to add ssd to freenas and make a path for plex to use for transcoder temporary directory. Because i use plex In freenas? Thanks for your times

Ram transcoding works way better in my experience
