End game tips that blew my mind (lvl 50+ after beating story):
1. Do Helltides whenever you can: They drop the material you'll need to change abilities on your equipment
2. Get to the 70% resistance cap for all Elements, except for Cold. Cold damage can easily be dodged. I was swapping different sets of boots for what Elements the NM dungeons had, then wondering why I got one-shotted when an Elite used electricity when the NMD description said they used poison. Get three on your boots, one one your chest, then even the rest out with Paragon boards or your jewelry equipment slots.

Not new to Diablo, but new to Diablo 4. Very helpful info. Some I'd figured out to a degree and others had NO idea like the healing potion upgrade.

Blizzard really went bananas with D4. So many things to keep in mind to play the game. I like the game, but it's nowhere close to D1-D3 simplicity... Or maybe I just got too old and unwilling to learn 😂

Ty for the tips! I didn't know the last one. One thing I've been kicking myself over and over with, is that I've been leveling glyphs wrong. I'm level 75 at the moment, and somehow I've had this wrong idea that those yellow glyphs need requirements fulfilled to make anything work on it. So I've been leveling "purple ones" so they're really high and the ones that are good are like level 3 or something (I'm a barbarian). And just now I had to switch to tier 4 to get dungeons done. So I'm kinda screwed when it comes to having proper glyphs on, nearby and in the future.

Tip- You will get wrecked as you climb up the world tiers, as programmed!

Maybe I overlooked and never noticed (or it's unlocked at a specific level?), but apart from weapons you can also upgrade your jewelry at the jeweler!

got to lvl 35 now and the tip i most recommend is drink your elixirs (forgot about them till lvl30) and salvage so you can upgrade.

My tip is super simple. Do some research on your character type, even if it’s just using a website to plan out your skill tree. Learning what aspects, passive skills etc are available helps you work out what dungeons you should prioritize and which gear makes you should salvage vs save. E.g Druid… there are a lot of synergies if you mainly go storm and earth skills, or poison and werewolf, or taking werebare as your true form… but also don’t be afraid to change skills… sometimes you get a certain piece of gear with a certain aspect and it just changes what you want to do entirely!

Gotta remember to drink my elixir's as well 😂 maybe every time I take a sip of my beer I check if my elixir is still going.

Solid tips! Ive played diablo since D1 but from the time i played D3 to D4, it was like i had to relearn and of course learn the new features. Thanks for the tips as i am lvl 43 and have never used a potion (even though ive upgraded) and have never Extracted. Nice content and helpful links!!! P.S. wanted to check out your standing desk but link is broke.

Pro tip: don't sell anything until you are in world tier 4, you will have more than enough mats doing this.

That's when it becomes worthwhile to sell, one rare is about 20,000 gold, but the material value is the same

It's been a long time since I played Diablo III, and after buying the Fourth installment today on PC I was flooded with SO many dejavu moments. On the topic of "Salvaging more than yu Sell" I have to say your right, but i often go into games and sell my First or Second full inventories when they get full before salvaging. It helps to have a leg to stand on when just going into the market for potions and such.

i do think they should have included somewhere, what causes an overpower attack.. i did finally find it by directly searching for diablo 4 overpower. (in short it's more or less the same as a crit in many games, including diablo 4, it has a base 3% chance to go off when you attack)

I never really played Diablo, but I feel I reaaaally suck at this stuff. Played with a friend until lvl 30ish, now bought the game and continued with my character solo. 9/10 times I dont even see why I died. Maybe Im just too old to keep up with this shit

Great hints & tips! I just stumbled on the inventory sort feature today. That's so handy.

I have a couple of tips.

1. Aspects you take off of a piece of gear can only be placed on another piece once. You can't take it off again and place it on a third piece.

2. The effects you get from aspects don't stack. If you have the same aspect on two pieces of gear, you're basically wasting one aspect slot for nothing.
