Leopard is not scared or playing with the crowd. She is actually a mother leopard whose cub fell down in the pit or something, and she was trying to ask for help. There should be a full video somewhere. In the video, people actually figured that something is wrong and followed her i guess, and saw her cub. They called authorities to help the cub and in the end they both reunited.

This leopard wanted the humans to help it's cub which fell into a well .. eventually some good souls followed it and alerted the animal rescue team, the cub was taken care off and let go the next day.
