Open looks work's great for 3 level slashers on silver to wolith gold catch an shoot

It does work for post fades

The badge is amazing lol. On my melo build, i have it on HOF. I have a 96 middy and only 73 3pt. Being that i am able to get all the shooting badges on HOF, this makes me hit the 3 like i have 99 3. Lol

As a person who runs with hof open looks it’s great

I have a 84 mid w silver open looks ,am I still good or did I mess my whole build up by not upgrading the remaining 2 points towards mid range and getting gold ?

This is the first year the game feels balanced in a long time and I’m enjoying. Some tweaks can be made but I’m enjoying solo rec. and not sitting here trying to listen to every video to make a meta build has been nice this year too lol

Am I understand correctly? So the silver level useless, because according to the graph, the silver level often shows a worse value than the bronze. Is silver worth it at all, or should I invest and go for gold?
At the moment, my three point shot is 87, from here it seems that 88 is not much, but the point is quite expensive.

Based on this test it honestly seems like the badge doesn’t really matter all that much. Of course 88 with gold will shoot better than 58 with bronze because the attribute is 30 points higher but the badge itself doesn’t give much advantage. I do remember them saying before release that attributes would be more important than badges this year & every test seems to confirm that.

Silver is definitely the sweet spot for it in my opinion

Thanks was interested in how open looks impacts the shot! Do you know how to explain to me how your green windows on your release and base tests work together? I.E. Base with 29 ms green window and a release with 48ms green window? Do they blend? Could you test the difference in green window when you pair a small green window base (29ms) and a large green window base (40ms) with a small green window release (29 ms) and a large green window release (48ms)? I am a premium member so not sure if you want to post this to the general public but I would love to know why they have their own windows and how they could possibly stack.

I made a Kobe type build with 93 middy and 75 3pt. I get open looks on HoF. My 3pt shot is knock down in park and rec. Open looks pops up all the time especially on leaners and hop step shots. $$$

Not going to lie this badge makes shooting unbelievably easy allong with hot zones...I shoot 60% from 3 with a 79....so if you can't shoot this year that's on you lmao

Here’s my thing with open looks - inconsistent triggering. Idk if that a connection/contest delay thing or what, but I’ve consistently had “wide open” shots that don’t actually trigger from day 1.

Can you possibly test out just how right stick reaches compare to square reaches? I would love to know the differences

No point of me grinding for hof for this badge. It’ll just drop back down to bronze smh

I’ve taken a few university courses on data and models for my BA in political Science, and I’d recommend testing the 3pt / mid range attribute at different values (70, 75, 80, 85 etc) and plotting the points to see how much shooting attributes actually affect make % and green window. With that information, it would enable you to test badges at a set value, like you did with this one (at 85) that way you can see how much the badge impacts shooting independently of the rating. I believe Mike wang tweeted at the beginning of the year that green window is determined by attributes, and badges are icing on the cake. My guess is that badges don’t have a different impact depending on ratings, testing the ratings could be a quick way to see if that’s mathematically correct
