From Australia. My Toyota camry 2005 required a different but simpler method to program key fobs.

I wonder if this will work on a 2009 TOYOTA YARIS as my key isn’t a master key 🔑 I bought it used and I left my car light on which drained my battery and resulted in no access the doors all locked the remote keyless entry wouldn’t open doors either so I got a family friend got under it plugged the jumper cables then car turned on doors opened But my key fob broke I ordered a new fob so what I’m asking is will it work if I get a new key cut and program it manually?

Hey, you will never know how much I appreciate your help! I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander and had remotes from our old 2002 Toyota Highlander. I asked the dealer multiple times if they could program those remotes to the newer car and they said absolutely not, it can’t be done,
thank you again for taking the time to prove them wrong and
for saving me a huge amount of money and aggravation.

Worked on my toyota Allion 2003

I followed these exact steps and doesn’t seem to work , open close the doors etc and the locks just don’t cycle after all that. Any help or suggestions?

locking and unlocking the doors works well but im having trouble cranking over the car with this new key. i have programmed a key before and got it fully working so im not sure why it isn't this time. Any advice? TIA

Thank you, thank you so much. I tried twice with a 2006 Toyota Matrix XR. It did not work. Then a message on my phone said the device used to track mileage from the insurance company stated the device was not working. That is the reason the programming did not work. After taking it out, your instructions were followed, and the key fob worked perfectly.

your method still works in 2022.. but I think my problem may stem from another source. I changed the battery (to the correct one) and I'm thinking it's the door transceiver, or fuse.

I went to the locksmith twice, they couldn't program the remote. It was another brand. They tried their remote, no joy. Bought the keyless2go remote, used your instructions and programmed it less than 5 minutes. Instructions were on point.
