Man I loved this anime up until we realized what his trauma was.
It was something SO UNBELIEVABLY SHALLOW and childish... Ruined the whole series for me. :/
He is going through actual suffering in the Re:Zero world. It seemed profound. That level of torture, terror, and helplessness is something that few humans have come close to. To equate that to some inferiority complex was spitting on the whole fking anime. :/ Smh
even 6 years after release, its one of the best animes ive watched
ОтветитьHow far we've gotten
ОтветитьI have read the entirety of the ln, I love this, s2 was AMAZING. I Knew EVERYTHING that was gonna happen and STILL was like “frick”
ОтветитьOn another point, I like how the Light Novel is more descriptive when it comes to characters actions and thought processes, as that helps iron out some minor plot holes I've come across in the anime. For example, in the anime Emilia shows up earlier than she should at the loot house because Subaru wasn't there to unintentionally stall her during her search, but that doesn't explain why she doesn't show up in the second loop where Subaru had absolutely no contact with her, while in the Light Novel Felt points out in the last loop that she planned to set up some traps to prevent Emilia from finding her but wasn't able to because Subaru kept rushing her to the loot house, which explains why Emilia showed up in the last loop but not the second
ОтветитьAfter Re:Zero, both Subaru and I may need therapy.
Ответить2016 is so long ago. Like my dad's generation. We got better animes now. Neeeeext
ОтветитьWhat really happened: the moment Subaru closed his eyes track-kun went in for the attack at lightning speed
Ответитьauthor recently confirm that re0 will get a happy ending!
ОтветитьBrotherhood and fhranaga sucks weeb
ОтветитьI admire Re:Zero because it's the one isekai I do not want to be stuck in. Really would not want to be Subaru. At all. Not even for a little while. No thanks.
ОтветитьGotta love the rem swag
ОтветитьI'm 3 years late to this video
ОтветитьRead the LN it’s still ongoing The Anime cuts out a lot of exposition and worldbuilding for more action,The novel goes into detail about things like the political state of Lugunica, the surprisingly complicated magic system, and the lives of supporting characters like Crusch and Wilhelm, the novels flesh out Subaru a lot more than the anime, which makes some of his more selfish actions in the later story arcs more understandable (if not necessarily justifiable).
ОтветитьJust ordered my first volume of re:zero LN.
I hope its just as epic or even better than the anime witch i enjoyed very much.
Though i am going to miss the soundtrack while reading.
Where I read the light novel
ОтветитьWhere to read the light novel
ОтветитьNot hating, since i read the web novel, but the anime isn't that great if you read the light/web novel.
Like, when reading we have a lot more focus on the mental state of Subaru in each death, while the anime skips a lot of things and just give more empashis to the gore and death than the psychological state of our Dark Souls MC.
An example? Season 2 is perfect to explain this:
In the Novels, Subaru try and try again to save everyone (Mansion burning and those rabbits attack) and every time he fails, he get more stuck with the idea only he can save all his friends from death and break free from the loop, and after crying a lot to Otto, the same merchant husbando punchs him in the face and tell him to cool down because he isn't alone and both him, Emilia and Ram can help Subaru save everyone.
But in anime, the sensation is just than Subaru try a thing, it fails and he have a brutal death, and then he try again a new "chance" and fails again until the same Otto punch scene, which have a lot less impact since we don't have a almost mentally disabled Subaru crying because only he knows what is going to happy, but after so many attempts he couldn't do anything to save the others.
Even they changed something from LN it's still one of my favorite anime of all time.
Ответитьis this the manga or the light novel?
ОтветитьI'm waiting one more week on HBO Max for episode 25 for season 2 of re zero life in another world I freaking love this anime it keeps me on the edge of my seat I cried too many times lol 😂😭😂
ОтветитьI'm trying to get throw season one but the lead is such a dumbass. It hurts to watch him.
ОтветитьKazuma: look I can explain
Steve: you can die and respawn peacefully while I have to endure death for a moment
Subaru: for a moment ? I had to endure all of the suffering before I can die and respawn
Eren: you guys can respawn
Where can i read the novel with photos
Ответитьits not suburu but subaru learn how to spell things properly...
Ответитьdo you have any interest in doing another one of these for re:zero? I've read volumes 1-15, (which stop at the same spot season 2 ends) and I have some strong opinions about how the anime handled them, but I'd love to hear your thoughts
Ответитьi like how its an adaption of a light novel usually its adapted from a manga, right?
ОтветитьBest anime for real! But light novels kinda bad.
ОтветитьThe anime is based on the manga not the light novel.
ОтветитьI found the light novel a bit too weirdly paced for me- there's some really long parts where they describe the characters, what they're thinking, what they're saying, how they're saying it ect. Which is fine but it feels like the plot just halts for that time. The anime is better paced but we don't get to see what's going on in Subaru's brain.
I think the ideal adapration is the manga- we get the pacing of the anime but also get to see what the characters are thinking.
I'm not even a big anime fan and I have no idea what all these genres / sub-genres are but for some reason I really love your channel?
ОтветитьSo the web novel became the light novel then the manga then anime?
ОтветитьBest anime I've ever seen.
ОтветитьWhat does isekai mean im new to anime scene
Ответитьanybody else just tryna find out how many manga volumes there are not light novels
Ответитьwtf that reinhard voice
ОтветитьРуских субтитри отсуствують
ОтветитьI saw the 2nd episode thinking that it was the first, cause the first episode was named episode 0 and second episode as episode 1 in the website that I watch anime. So I didn't experience the first problem you mentioned because of a small mistake😅
ОтветитьHonestly, I think the anime does a really good job of conveying how excruciatingly painful each death is, so I feel like anyone complaining that Subaru doesn’t kill himself whenever something goes wrong isn’t really engaging with the story in good faith.
ОтветитьThey couldn’t show Subaru drinking alcohol in the anime…
But they could show episode THIRTY-THREE completely uncensored?
Well he didn't give that in depth analysis of the Elsa fight, but the analysis of the Betelgeuse (Petelgeuse? He doesn't pronounce his name the way the books spell it) fight makes up for it.
ОтветитьJust binged the anime, really looking forward to reading the book. Thank you for all the info, and the info on Book Walker in general
ОтветитьThere both trash, but the anime is fat worst than the manga.
Ответитьpeople say subaru's character is inconsistent because he comes up with smart plans yet does dumb shit or vice versa, but clearly hes just got high intelligence and low wisdom. smart people do dumb stuff all the time didnt yall watch Malcolm in the middle?
ОтветитьNovel > Anime
ОтветитьLet me say it like this, if you are familiar with the Anime then you know that a certain individual has a penchant for grabbing you by the heart and squeezing painfully while simultaneously gently caressing your soul. The Anime is eye candy, the light novel is more like those hands. "I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you..." Some of you get it.
