Colin is there a way to make it so that the strobe resembles more of a broken bulb effect?

Even as someone who has been using Premiere Pro for nearly 10 years, this was a very helpful tutorial and immensely well explained! Thanks for the quick tips :)

Thanks for the tips! I can't seem to find a way to shorten the frequency of the effect though. I can make the strobe itself short or long, but I want a very quick flash to happen only periodically throughout the clip. Help?

Hi Coline, thanks for your great tutorials, always helpful! Just a quick question, I made a test here using low values: 0.30 going to 0.01 for strob duration and 0.60 going to 0.03 for strob period on a clip of 5 second. As a result Im getting a non linear speed increase of the strob effect. Meaning it would slowly increase in speed up to a point where it would briefly slow down then increase again to full speed. Kind of like a bug but I'm wondering if it not because of the velocity. Hopefully this makes sense and if you have any ideas about what could cause this I would love to know! Thanks

I love these simple but time saving tips. Especially useful when a client changes their mind.
