Hi sebastiaan🤝👍
Ответитьthis is what i expected 3DTV to be, we'll see what content will be feasible for this HMDless 3D tech
ОтветитьDoes the use of eye-tracking imply its experience is limited to a single person?
ОтветитьAwsome, is there enough of a pop out effect or mainly depth into the screen?
ОтветитьIs this a Nintendo DS technology
ОтветитьIs this something that will work with existing 3D games, or will it require its own apps?
Ответитьvery good - I wish this 3 D View - we are waiting since many for it - please make a special report !!
ОтветитьCool. Another 100” too small solution.
Zero interest to Play on a laptop.
I wish, i wish they will be producing some big screens in few years.
I remember seeing glasses-free 3D TVs years ago in CES videos. There were large displays with many people walking around and seated in front of them - all able to view the 3D content without glasses. I fully expected to see glasses-free 3D TVs on the market soon after, which would have probably been a few years ago, so I am disappointed we still do not have them.
ОтветитьDoes this one have depth or pop out 3d?
What are the specs?
5k price seems Insane for such a small monitor.
How does it compare to Leia inc?
Thanks Sebastian!
Hi Sebastiaan how did this compare to the Leia display you also looked at? I got to try the Sony SRD at AWE but didn't get a change to see the new Leia monitors and would be very interested to understand how they compared
ОтветитьWhe need this long time!
Ответитьhow does it know which eye to track if more than 1 person is looking at it? will it explode?
Ответитьif developers can make it so that people can flip the 3D effect on and off instantly, I think the industry will try to hype 3D again. I just feel like 3D never really became the succes people hoped it would be. I'm skeptical.
Ответитьwow my new 3ds xl had this technology.. Nothing new there.
ОтветитьMy earlier comment was deleted!? Why?
ОтветитьAlso known as as one trick pony... because it only affects one person at a time, especially if they're standing at opposite ends. RIP
ОтветитьDude, we can see the effect very well
ОтветитьHello, can you please ask what games does it support? Also what movies? Thanks!
ОтветитьToshiba did have a glasses free 3D TV (back during the 3D TV rage) that had up to 9 views it could simultaneously create. As in 9 different people could watch the TV and each get a custom view that was 3D and independent of people adjacent to them. I think it could tolerate different distances from the TV for those 9 views. But within a range, as in you couldn't have someone super close and another far across the room and expect to get a glasses free view. I think one of the issues was the hardware wasn't particularly fast, if you moved too quickly it lost tracking, and would have to reacquire that person. The TV had a camera to find each person in the bezel. It used one of the first 4k panels, and was the reason why they were able to do the glasses free TV to multiple viewers, since the panel had enough resolution to accommodate the extra views. Of course the resolution probably wasn't near what this lightfield display is doing, but it was available in 55" and 65". Also this lightfield display is creating multiple angles, as you can see around the corner, and the perspective changes as your head moves. VS a 3D movie that only presents the one perspective/angle and depth that is chosen. I wonder how similar this is to Looking Glass Portrait, is it the same technology?
ОтветитьThis is the future of TVs and Monitors. Getting closer to Star Trek monitors. If you don't know about them you should look it up.
ОтветитьI really cannot see the effects, but that is because i am looking at your video, on my flatscreen monitor, i dont see the effect, i guess this device is one of them things like VR, you can show of so many VR games on your channel, but someone needs to actually BE in VR to experience VR, i guess its the same with this SRD, the camera just does not pick up the effect of what you are seeing with your own eyes Sebastian, but i believe you its cool when you say something is cool :)
ОтветитьSo because it tracks eyes, it's made for one person viewing only, even if it gets larger display.
ОтветитьSo the world is becomming more and more like a psycedelic trip and for some reason its not legal to use
ОтветитьI could only imagine playing a hologram game it be mind blowing
ОтветитьSmartphones and tablet can already do the tracking, they just need the lightfield layer to focus pixels on specific directions.
Ответитьdoes it do anything to convert any game or video convert into 3d or is it only for all new original content?
ОтветитьDo you think those displays will be in our laptops soon?
Ответить
