One thing that has helped, some, with my Mental Illness - DONT strive for Happiness - strive for Peace and Calmness. There is no constant state of Happiness- only moments, because its too extreme - strive for peace, being content, calmness

For me, learning to be happy by appreciating everything you already have, and not wating to feel so, till having more in life.

This was an incredible podcast. I’ve been stuck and didn’t have the words to articulate how I felt and then 35mins into the podcast I had to stop my run to have a cry. I’ve been deeply unhappy for about 4yrs, and suddenly this year I have wanted to make a change because I am a ghost of who I use to be. I am in the process of finding a new city to relocate to so that I can feel alive again. Amazing conversation. Loved the chat about fear. Damn I loved the whole thing. Thank you to you and Mr Brooks!

the theory of evolution ...is just that still after multiple generations of scientific study..evolution is taught as fact when it is still a unproven theory...there is not one shred of evidence to support it not one ....so why do we worship people who propagate such nonsense...simple basic math obliterates the evolutionary theory...just look at the math...we understand statistics and probability and Odds...very very well....and it turns out that the Odds probability of the DNA sequence being as it is out of the box is impossible mathematically...there are not enough atoms in the universe to make the math work...winning the lottery is 1: 16,000000 chance...the DNA sequence being taken out of a bag in the right order to create life is 1: all the atoms of the universe... so anybody who starts out telling me about Darwin and how much they admire them has lost my attention and respect immediately...please Tom get a mathematician on who can explain why evolution is an impossibility....then start again on all your podcasts.....everything will make much more sense...and will be much more impactful///you will loose subscribers but that is the entire problem with universities and faculties and publishers....they are all fully financially dependant on the myth and lie of evolution....speak out against the deluded dictated false narrative for once and see what happens...I dare you. Almost everything you talk about and appreciate is based on how we and the world is designed...you dont even know it...

Great conversation. But it's interesting to me that most of this "new" knowledge or wisdom, has been known from the book of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes in the Bible for thousands ds of years.

Tom Bilyeu loves talking about himself. I wish he would give his podcast listeners the courtesy to let the guest speak.

Great podcast, loved it and agreed with 95%. But, Living Apart Together is totally a thing, and it works for a lot of people. I encourage you both to revisit your opinions. The idea that everyone needs to be in a monogamous love partnership is falling apart for a reason, and other relationship models (eg, polyamory, relationship anarchy, LAT, etc) are needed in this day and age.

Don't have a relationship in college. Doing so will plumet your grades and/or cause you to drop out. Don't even look at the opposite sex so to not get distracted from your focus on studies. If all you care about is romance and getting laid, you belong in the bar scene and not in college.
