How to Stop Notification Pop-Ups in Windows 11 and Browsers

The problem I had was with 1 SPECIFIC ad notification that kept popping up randomly in the Windows notification banners that appear on the right side. It was caused by a website I had visited in Google Chrome. To stop the UNWANTED pop-ups, I had to go to Google Chrome settings. Here is the fix:
- In the upper right corner of Chrome, click on the 3 dots to bring up menu
- click SETTINGS. A new tab will open
- on the left side, click PRIVACY AND SECURITY
- In the middle of the list options, click AD PRIVACY
- next, click SITE-SUGGESTED ADS
- you will see a list of sites visited. click BLOCK next to the sites causing the unwanted pop-ups.
You may need to restart your browser or computer for the changes to work.
