ОтветитьWhat's your opinion on Rebel 100 $20/22.00
ОтветитьMM 46CS, Sam Houston 15 yr, WT Rare Breed, EC A 120, MM 101.
ОтветитьI really enjoy your videos. It has expanded my taste on other bourbons. I try to get the ones that are new to my collection, but unfortunately living in Pennsylvania where the liquor stores are state run, they have limited selections of bourbon and whiskey. I will continue to look for the rarer ones out of state.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
My current five-
OGD BIB
WT 101
Old Tub
Rittenhouse Rye
Jim Beam Rye
Yes I’m on a budget 😂
Trents love for scotch kills me🤣
Ответитьif you haven’t already you should try aberlour 12. The way they blend aberlour 12 is they blend whiskey fully aged in sherry cask for 12yr and and whiskey fully in ex-bourbon casks for 12 year together. Definitely interesting compared to other double cask entry scotch products.
ОтветитьNew to the table but my current go to's are Michters American, Four Roses Single Barrel, Jameson Black Barrel, and WT Longbranch. I'm currently sipping on a Breckenridge I really enjoy. There's also a lot above these price ranges I love but try to stay in reality. High West and Bruichladdich getting honorable mentions also.
ОтветитьGreat video! I love the idea of people talking about what bottles they’ve drank the most over their bourbon journey. I’ve been drinking whiskey for 15ish years or so… but didn’t start actually diving into bourbon and whiskey until 2018 when I started appreciating the neat pour as a sipper (before that, usually it was mixed drinks or occasionally on the rocks).
Since 2018, I started keeping track of every bottle I’ve bought, and here are the bourbons I bought from highest down (I stopped at having purchased 4 bottles of the brand):
11 bottles :: Rare Breed
10 bottles :: Knob Creek small batch (NAS or 9yr)
7 bottles :: Buffalo Trace, Elijah Craig BPs, & Makers Mark
6 bottles :: Eagle Rare, Henry McKenna BIB, & KC 9 Yr SiB
5 bottles :: Four Roses SiB and Woodford Double Oaked
4 bottles :: 1792 small batch, Elijah Craig small batch, Larceny, Makers Mark CS, Michter’s small batch, and WT101
Knob Creek 9 vs Four Roses Small Batch. Which one should I go for? (they cost the same here)
ОтветитьWhat would be your rapture end of days bourbon. For me Widow Jane.
ОтветитьWhat about whistle pig 6 year rye single barrel, marvelous
ОтветитьSo great love the values, you work hard, you save your money and contribute to society
ОтветитьWild Turkey Rare Breed currently 48.99 at Indianapolis Costco as well as the three Total Wine locations.
ОтветитьHOW THEY GET THEM COLERS
ОтветитьCan you trust a whiskey reviewer that can’t handle scotch?
ОтветитьI'm just learning and this has been so helpful!! Thank you!
ОтветитьI’m new to bourbon and I usually avoid high proof bourbons , but oddly enough my 2 favorites are Wild Turkey 101 and Knob Creek 9, I also love Makers 46 , 1792 and Russell’s 10 year.
ОтветитьThe widow Jane is allocated per NC ABC and I agree it’s breakfast carbs with maple syrup it’s about 44$
Y’all need to hunt down hoot & young 15 yr it’s 125 proof but drinks like 100 it’s about 110$ a bottle and vibrant
Awesome lineups from you guys! Right now my top 5 (non allocated) are:
1) Russels 10
2) Knob Creek 9
3) 1792 Full Proof
4) Calumet Farm 16 (for my “wish I was rich” days)
5) Whistle Pig 10
Definitely want to try the Widow Jane soon, and also the Double Oaked Woodford!
No Tigerthicc? Pffft
ОтветитьWidow Jane Decadence cost me $130 in North Florida.
ОтветитьBuffalo trace all day long. Where I live, $21 a bottle. Can’t beat that
ОтветитьThat 9 year Knob creek was very harsh in my opinion.
ОтветитьFrey ranch is in ca
ОтветитьLove this show. You guys are great. Love the input.
Ответить😂 I love the extremely skeptical looks that Trent gives you Kurt as you describe a Scotch 😑🥴🤨👀 I can tell that he absolutely loves a good Scotch.
ОтветитьPlease do a review with on Deacon Scoth 🥃 Whisky its Amazing and underrated
ОтветитьLaphroaig QC, Glendronach 12, Four Roses Single Barrel, Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban and Old Charter for my mixer (7-Up and Lemon Juice). All low priced and more important- Available.
ОтветитьI want to do a bourbon pairing with food. What four or five would you recommend. Love your shows
ОтветитьHave you tried redwood empire pipe dream? It is very very good
ОтветитьHave you done a Japanese bourbon/whiskey top 10 review yet?
ОтветитьLate to the comments here but first have to say to Kurt and Trenton that their videos are well thought out, well presented and digestible - never over our heads or long-winded. These guys bourbon! Your palates are amazingly similar to mine - so I am absolutely a subscriber. As for my go-to bourbons right now: WR Double-Oaked, WT Rare Breed, Four Roses Single Barrel, and Knob Creek 9. Unfortunately, here in Canada, we don't see most of the rest of your selections on the shelves very often (or at all). Still, your vids are great for my next shopping excursion to the US. Keep it up guys!
Ответитьhaha bourbon and fine wine drinkers = Sophisticated drunks - Now, where can I get some of that Widow Jane? I love the original.
ОтветитьIf you like Woodford double oaked how is your opinion of Nikka coffee grain whisky.
ОтветитьI have watched a couple of your videos and I have yet to see Basil Hayden. Basil Hayden is what I cut my teeth on, my starter bourbon. I always keep 2-3 bottles of the “Off the Shelf” because it’s easy to find and inexpensive. I also keep a few bottles of the 10 Year. Interested to hear your thoughts on Basil Hayden.
ОтветитьYou guys are the best !
ОтветитьId love to see Curt punch Trent in the face. My nose senses tommy lee's leather pants, lighter fluid, sweatpants, a used condom, and many more notes.. a fabulous buy!
ОтветитьThanks Kurt & Trenton for your channel! Great way to learn of many different bourbons that I haven't tried or even seen before! I don't have a large stock myself so I only have a top 3 which I find myself restocking and drinking regularly which are readily available in Pennsylvania.
1) WR Double Oaked
2) OF 1920
3) Four Roses SB Select
About 30 minutes after you finish a Woodford Double Oaked pour, smell the empty glass. Straight up charred oak/campfire aroma!
ОтветитьI have a wild turkey rarebreed and knob creek 9 wild turkey 101 woodford distiller select and makers mark 46 just to name a few
ОтветитьReally enjoy the channel, guys. I also like sipping whiskey with my son. Good times. My top 5 favorites today are: 1) Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey, 2) Westland American Single Malt, 3) Angel's Envy Bourbon, 4) Eagle Rare 10yr Bourbon, and 5) Bad Dog Grandpa's Wheat Whiskey. My everyday, though, is probably Slane Irish Whiskey which reminds me of Redbreast 12 (I think it's the Sherry Casks), but at $27 vs $70 a bottle, is a much more affordable, everyday sip for me. Keep up the great content! :)
Ответитьcome on guys you said daily drinkers, most people cant daily drink 60 to 80 bucks a bottle stuff
ОтветитьGreat selections
ОтветитьWoodford Reserve double oak; Elijah Craig; MakerMark46; Knobcreek 9; and Octmore 18 are on my shelf
ОтветитьGot wild turkey rare breed a couple of weeks ago at the duty free shop going into Mexico for $32. Only problem is you can only bring back one bottle per person
ОтветитьTrent, I totally agree with you, Scotch is not my thing either!!!!
ОтветитьAncient age 10 star is so flavorful you should definitely review it!!!!!!
