When they were asked about a booking mode ahead of release, and they pushed their mobile game saying you could do it in that, I knew Fight Forever was dead on arrival.

I personally didn’t mind FF after changing the button config I found it easier to play with triangle as run that one subtle difference helped but the limited content was terrible ended up with more money than Tony khan on that game and all items in the shop were bought

I was actually thinking of getting this game when it came out and then I saw the gameplay and the reviews. Still haven't bought it or played it for a single minute

Of course Tony is persevering because he can't and won't accept that anything is wrong with anything AEW related. It will be his downfall.

I acquired the game when Sony was offering it as a monthly free game for PS5. It's a fun budget wrestling game, wouldn't have been worth paying full price, but it's not the abysmal trainwreck some make it out to be.

Limited roster, limited creation suite.. the story mode needed work, plus the fact they were releasing paid wrestler packs after folks bought the first season pass is what turned ppl away.

The gameplay was solid, felt very old school like the N64 titles they were trying to replicate.

I claimed the game when it was one of Playstation Plus' free monthly games some months back. I've never played it because every time I see a video or screenshot of the game, I'm reminded of how horrible it looks. It looks dated and nearly cartoon like in some aspects.

You got Yuke who worked on virtual every single WWE until 2K started publishing the games after original publisher THQ went bankrupt after publishing WWE13 a buggy often times crash and reliving the footage here comes THQ Nordic and like those Yuke didn't know how to make a pro wrestling game it feels like half a WWE game it just a half ass game we can't forget All Elite Wrestling was also the publisher.Oh we're going to take down WWE games and compete look at what happen with TNA Impact.TNA is the first worst video game I played right next to AEW.Customize characters or creating your own story based on the fact AEW has no real story in real life.

i only say "good" because they owe those that bought it more FREE stuff and everything working properly.

I've never watched AEW in my life. Couldn't name one wrestler. But if they released an AKI game for the N64 with the same format as No Mercy, I would buy it.

Even if you are a fan of AEW the game plays nothing like the real life counter part. The show nearly every match 20 minutes with multiple finisher kickouts. In this game even on elite difficulty. 2 minute matches that are ended after 1 and on rare occasions two finishers.

Persevering is such a weird way to describe having a video game. It's a game. It's already made. Should they pretend it never existed? Or should they continue to pay pittance money to a handful of developers to add new DLCs every few months? The game might be bad but its their game, and they have to keep it going until they can replace it with something better.

James, why are you such a weird little goof about AEW? Try to find the same vitriol for any other company I dare you.

WWE is also a proven commodity in gaming and they have been for years now versus a still fairly new company that's never been in the gaming market release their first game, it was frivolous spending on AEW's part which has become a recurring trend.

I got to play aew fight forever for free via ps plus. It was awful. Deleted it from my ps5.

Fight Forever is a plate full of mashed potatoes with no meat, no gravy, no bread, no glass of water, no napkin... and they just keep piling on more potatoes.

My nephew likes it because he has a Nintendo Switch and can be Cody. The WWE game on switch doesn’t even work at all

I recently bought it on switch for $20.00. I'm enjoying it so far. I would never of paid $60.00 for it though.

Unrelated - AEW wouldn't know a distinct, good entrance theme if it leapt on them from the top rope. Jericho has the only good one and dude had to make it himself.

I watched someone play through the AEW game. It looked like a perfectly average wrestling game from the mid 2000s. Also the character creation options are non-existent.

The only 2 wrestling games I've ever played that were worse was WWE 2K20 and the first ECW game by Acclaim. TNA IMPACT was a far better game.

Khan is the ultimate example of why nepotism fails in business. He has everything but earned none of it.

Played for free still disappointed.
The biggest problem is it played like a ps1 era first attempt. Would of wanted my money back if i rented it back then.The controls were good if limited. Hated the entrance mini game. Hated all the mini games to be honest. The create a wrestler felt super limited. Which with aew should be the cornerstone of the game since none of the wrestlers are that known. And i couldn't play the ones i knew. Story felt dated at launch. Felt like a collect a thon with unlocks that weren't freaking worth the effort. Also felt like a phone game that plays for an hour then starts demanding real world cash .very much like aew i wanted a better experience then wwe left wondering why did i bother.

Fight Forever wasn’t a bad game. It definitely had its flaws but it was a good foundation. Just needs some tweaks to the gameplay, improve upon the graphics, add some more match types, eliminate the mini games, and it becomes a great game.

Stevie’s list was probably the worst list in the history of lists. Most of the games he mentioned weren’t even bad. And games that we all universally agree upon as being the worst wrestling games weren’t included.

They had the viewership at the time.. the game was just made horrible and they wanted it be to no mercy way too much instead of making a new game. They tried to make everything DLC just pure shit

I played that game cause i got it for free, And it only took 10 minutes for me to uninstall it.
