How To Render And Export in Final Cut Pro X Full Beginners Guide

Will this fix my blurring?

It may sound as a stupid question : “do I have to wait for rendering to finish before I export the video ?”
Because sometime I will apply some color corrections and skin smoothing effect but it won’t show on the export video once is created !
