They probs had a giant freezer to preserve there food like they did bsck in the day,put alot of salt on it to preserve it and then freeze it in a frozen room,no fridges no microwave.
ОтветитьStarted watching til I noticed it wasn’t even survival. Lame.
ОтветитьNah! I don't think there were people living this deep down.
ОтветитьI think that mojang should make it when you light up the ancient city portal kinda like the end portal it make a wave outwards and restore the city back
ОтветитьThis was a cool video, for multiple reasons. One the talent, two just the idea that..maybe this is what an ancient would’ve looked like before all hell broke loose. Maybe it was this beautiful place, and as it got infected with skulk the ancient people had to adjust. The wool to walk on, the wool around social spaces. And they couldn’t upkeep anything. Any noise would draw a warden. After they were gone, it continued to decay. Wild to think of what could’ve been. Or what was.
ОтветитьMe and my friend have a survival world with all the structures near the spawn, our goal was to repair all the structures to their formal glory. Even sunken boats and buildings, will would destroy and rebuild them on the water. But it would never be a perfect 1.1, we would build and decorate them in our own way while keeping everything recognisable.
It was pretty fun very, it gave us something to do while having a end goal.
i feel like he forgot the secret room under the portal
Ответить1 Ask What shader do you us in the videos.
Ответитьso cool!
ОтветитьIt's so lively now, i liked it!
ОтветитьSHEESH
ОтветитьTHIS COOL AND NICE 👍 This is your best time doing this I’m going to do it to.
Ответитьmaybe the place full of wool was use to hide from the warden by some npc.
ОтветитьThis was better than other
Excellent work made 👍👍👍👍
WOW thanks for sharing this it’s so inspirational to me, is the portal usable? I really want to have a go at transforming one myself now, but my skills are not as good as yours yet.
ОтветитьThat was so cool, and I appreciate your work. I know it took hours, but what if you did the double anchant city in the video.
ОтветитьI would like to be able to play on it but I don't have a PC that runs 1.19
Ответитьwow this is so amazing you won my like bro
ОтветитьId like to think that the warden was some kind of creature that the ancient builders worshiped. They released the warden into reality to protect them, but the warden quickly grew violent and spread sculk everywhere because it saw the ancient builders as a threat, the reason it became blind is because the ancient builders somehow tore off it's eyes or that it adapted to the darkness
ОтветитьThe nexus link no longer works
ОтветитьBased on the design of the portal and smaller alters, it looks like the warden was a figure for worship to me. The builds look as though they have “ears” and the gaping hole where the warden’s face would be. Be something else to have written lore in this game
Ответитьthe ice box is literally just a storage freezer. exactly what you thought it was.
ОтветитьBro just made the aether portal 💀
ОтветитьPibby
ОтветитьShader name?
ОтветитьThis sint evenclose to a proper restoration. It would've been better if you first restored everything BEFORE adding your changes.
ОтветитьArthur Evans reconstructing the Cnossos Palace colorized
ОтветитьPut this structure on the surface and make it a kingdom
ОтветитьWow! I was trying to do this, I'm glad to come across a video of it done! (a lot better than me 🤣)
ОтветитьWhat editing tool did you use?
ОтветитьI’d argue there was a bit more symbiosis between the sculk and the ancient city people. Sculk sensors are found controlling light fixtures; maybe the ancients were using sculk to help with their technology. Maybe the Warden came after the sculk? Or perhaps the ancients just had a better way of dealing with it? They do have wool pathways, so they might have just lived amongst the sculk. That’s my theory, at least.
ОтветитьThis looks better then the one we have! In fact so much better I’m gonna do something like that to a aincent city!
ОтветитьI started to cry. knowing I can't have shaders in dark spots
ОтветитьMultiple cities spawning near each other isn't that rare, they spawn very often under mountains
Ответитьas far as i know, ancient cities spawn at the center of meadow biomes ( / the other mountainous biomes) that don't have an ocean closely adjacent to them. the double portal city was two seperate cities in the same cave, so i would assume that the surface area had two seperate mountainous biomes touching, or an exceptionally wide one.
you can also prevent glow berries from growing too far into the build with string at the tips where you want them to stop. they'll still fruit and light up as normal.
entire place looks great, and i could definitely see this as a structure mod or something similar, spawning in lush biomes rather than deep dark. very inspiring, even a year later :)
Challenge.. do this in Hardcore.
ОтветитьI feel like the wooden structures and blue carpets are from explorers that came before us but died while exploring. the city itself is gray, even the wool around the city is gray. only blue carpet you can find is around the wooden structures and at the abandoned camp which is one of the random structures. overall the wooden structures feel really out of place to me
ОтветитьIdiot didn't notice the towers were added later
ОтветитьMy theory is the ancient city used to belong to piglins(since soul sand and other nether related stuff exists down there) but something terrible happens and forced the piglins to go live in the nether for ever
ОтветитьWhat shader os he using? I love it
ОтветитьThank you for restoring our home...
ОтветитьI love the video and you build but some of the wooden structures found in the Ancient City normally seem to be very clearly built by illagers after the abandonment of the city. The style of the structures matches closely to pillager towers and even the blue wool colors in piles match with the piles of wool in woodland mansions. I do love the build but I feel like you mixed illager and Ancient architecture instead of restoring it to something close to its original intact look. Though if anything that might have led to it being an even cooler and less dark and gloomy final build.
ОтветитьAn amazing transformation! Definitely a great rendition, but…. This is why colonial civilizations can’t be trusted to recreate lost cultures 😜 I always imagined that the cities were so ancient that they used to be surface Mecca’s. All the deepslate was originally stone or dirt. Cities also don’t have agricultural districts. Those would have been made from biodegradable materials and thus the outer village’s and farms are lost to time. I also imagine that the portals were “stargates” and eventually the skulk world was found and it came through and destroyed the ancients, all the candles were left as a memorial to those lost when the wardens came to lay claim 🤷♂️😸
Seriously, this is fantastic. You’ve a great vision and I love how you end up being the antagonist to so many in the multiplayer challenges.
