Now I plan to change my existing laptop and Im afraid to wait till released the new M3-equipped MacBooks. The question is, those will be released too fast again? And the customers will pay for that?
It looks like Apple Validation engineers has no physical possibility to keep up with the new product release time. Also, those customers who are addicted to owning the latest technology, they also not able to keep up with Apple's strategy.

The current MacBook has an ugly black color between the keyboard, personally, I prefer those old ones with metal frames, like the Air. I really don't like the SD and the HDMI port, why do we need these dust collector ports, previously Apple encouraged all their customers to purchase usb -c / whatever adapter. What will be the next, iPad with HDMI?

No issue with stainless still or aluminum frame, but it has a problem with thin titanium if you put a not durable back.
And another question,, I do not understand,, why and why the previous version has an extremely high price after the following ones were released. " because those are still much more durable?"

I really was the one who was waiting for the new iPhone release date. But now after a large amount of negative feedback regarding the heat, durability, and quality issues, I am really disappointed in the iPhone 15. From my personal side, I don't care if the iPhone has any wireless charging. I did love my iPhone 5 with the aluminum back frame. At this level, where the customer paying a bunch of money, they should make a compromise about whether they want something cool within an extremely short life or something quality. if the phone has more metal on the structure, that means the final product is more rigid and durable. That helps also the heat distribution. I would choose maybe a kind of solution on the back side of the phone like Mcsafe. some magnetic connectors with springs - which could hold and charge the phone on one docking station, making easy connection possible for drivers. But now it looks like Apple going in the wrong direction. If something works great, then why need to find another solution? Same story with Mcsafe ones removed then back again, then the keyboards. Also, I`m a bit disappointed, that Apple moved the manufacturing to India, within a very short time switching the production, which course a lot of investment, and quality issues based on iPhone 15 negative feedbaks. For customer's information, when an industry decides to make any relocation for their manufacture, there are always financial losses, that need to be compensated somehow. As like release a new product or existing one quickly. Quickly means less time for Validation of function, safety, durability, and quality.

Rather than exchange my aging MacBook Pro, I went for the Mac Mini M2 Pro and it's been brilliant. It's so damn quiet compared to the laptop and I'd rather leave the MacBook to more utility tasks and let the Mini do the heavy lifting.

The newest Macbook Pro is being sold at a whopping 4000 bucks. What can you do with the best of the best Macbook at that price point asides from browsing Facebook? If it's just for the super slim formfactor surely some other company can do it for 4000 bucks if you're willing to pay for it.
Like any other laptop that costs that much you better have a 4090 in it, and if you do it's probably big and heavy and drains battery in 2 hours okay fair enough. If you tell me Apple engineers managed to solve that and put in a 4090 powerhouse into a tiny form with 20 hour battery, okay 4000 bucks for that engineering feat no hate. But it's not like Apple solved that issue, it just mind boggling what is my money buying?

Hi Linus, I am soon to be a student in Computer science and I was choosing a laptop, I can't decide between the M1 and the M2 and would love to get an advice. Also if you have a link for a recommended device in amazon it would be great.

The Air is a fancy machine for browsing the internet and playing videos. What should be tested is the performance while doing that. Does it get hot while playing a normal video? Can it play high resolution with hardware and so on.

Linus is just a pc builder, he now little to nothing about real use for pcs, not everything is video editing XD. Im a 10+ years mobile game dev. Ive been working with the base mba m2 (8gb 256) for mobile games development with no issues at all. So this is just clickbait as everything on this channel. I mean I'm not developing the next GTA, but I consider my work pretty heavy loaded and I get what I need from this Mac.

I've been using the M2 Macbook air for heavy programming (Rails, React, PHP), it has worked absolutely flawlessly. Once I stopped to count how many chrome tabs I had open, I was over 60 tabs, no issues at all.

watching this on my m2 and yes it even gets hot watching yt but its tolerable, that's really the only thing that I dislike, I only use word and stuff for school. i tried csgo with good video settings and while the frames were "good", I could use it to fry an egg afterwards.

Heat is not good for electronics.

Cooler the better. We don't need to change the way we think. Apple need to put proper material into it to keep it cool..

Linus, Apple want it holeless to maintain innards cleanliness and maintenance free in regard to dusts. They say it's recommended to use it in places with ambient temperature below 10 degrees centigrade.

im going to spend 1200 dollars on a computer that will give me trouble with blender... i hate how attached i am to the apple ecosystem and how much i like how their products just work. except that they dont unless you only use safari and could be actually using your phone instead. also 256 gb for that price is ridiculous. i still wont put up with a pc or windows ever tho. unless someday i can afford to have both and than i'd use the one with better performance for renders and stuff

Why do people keep forget that the M2 AIR is not a workhorse laptop:/ (regardless the price)

I use a air on the daily for coding and work and it stays cool most of the time, but i wouldnt start compiling thousands of lines of code or extremly large projects.

I have xps 13 and I would never compare anything with it because it is quite lame. Dell uses same stupid engineering strategy for "quick burst" of performance. As result I felt that new laptop was with almost the same performance as my 10 years old vaio. By default laptop even doesn't spin fans for 30-60 seconds under load when cores are 100C in order to pretend be quiet.

I never quite understood the need to constantly attack apple products. Im a Mac user and I use it for development and I haven’t had any issues. Sometimes I think this channel rides on the “console war” mentality of Mac vs PC which I didn’t know was still going on. Yet to hear apple users complain about apple. It seems like all the complaints are always PC users. Not sure why people complain about something there not gonna already buy in the first place.
