Wow 11mm wider, that has to be a deal cruncher.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьInterior looks like a nice taxi cab grade interior.
ОтветитьWhere is its economy? Half done review
ОтветитьThis is the exact drivetrain as the previous model, tiny turbo and a CVT, no thanks. Apart from the top 2 trims, LX and Hybrid, the instrument cluster has no engine temp gauge for some bizarre reason.
ОтветитьI really like my new 2024 CRV my back seats recline that’s different and nice and it looks sophisticated classy and bigger than before. Great job Honda!
ОтветитьNice looking car but hybrid version falls well short of the Nissan X-Trail hybrid (Ti-L) - no 360° camera, no head-up display, no tan or cream interior, no rear passenger window shades, no 3rd zone climate control, smaller screens, and worst of all, no AWD. They have AWD with the hybrid in North American and Europe. Why not Australia? Makes no sense.
ОтветитьIf Honda stops being cheap on features, then it's possible to be an actual fierce competitor to the Rav4. Otherwise, it's not much of a competition.
ОтветитьThe hybrid does not have a CVT in traditional sense. It's an eCVT with no belt.
ОтветитьYour review is so misleading. You are showing LX and featuring RS (Red One) which does not have a full size spare. First ever thumbs down from my side to chasing cars
ОтветитьHave they got proper blind spot monitoring yet? My 2020 has a camera on the left and nothing for the right
ОтветитьHonda CRV cannot compete with RAV4 Hybrid and they know it.
ОтветитьWhat improvement are fiddly electronic gear shift buttons, compared to a haptic lever, that can be used without looking, even thou it's seems old school?
ОтветитьThis Is really expensive
ОтветитьJust make sure when you take it for a service, you double check they aren't cheap skates and charge EFTPOS fees
Ответитьanything with a honda badge has gotten real pricey in the last 3 years the base CRV used to be $29k in 2019/20 and the civic is a one model almost $50k car now
ОтветитьIMO Toyota RAV4 is dominating the segment as it offers a hybrid in every trim level starting at $46k, while all the other car makers only offer hybrid or PHEV models at the highest trim levels well above $50-70k. Some tight budget buyers cant justify $5k increase.... Sure you could downsize or upsize in other brands, but again Toyota still has a hybrid model for that too.
Sadly everyone wants a hybrid or EV now. Unless you had to buy a car ASAP due to an accident.
What i dont understand from Honda is for this price why are they putting such a small engine? Same as Honda Civic? Really? It suppose to be a family car that can take five people? I dont see why would any growing family would choose this over Rav4? It have bigger engine, AWD and everything Honda offer? Have Honda have learned nothing?
ОтветитьShows how ridiculous things have become when reviewer complains bout having to drag a transmission shifter
ОтветитьWhat are you talking about, so many contradictions in your assessment. It’s quiet and it’s loud. Thank you that was really helpful.
Ответить1.5L + CVT gearbox ...🤮🤮🤮
ОтветитьChasing Cars I love your work .... that said no mention of fuel economy?
ОтветитьLooks like a Volvo XC60 from the side and rear. I’m not complaining…
ОтветитьIf you do the math, this works out to a roughly 1600 Kg weight and a small amount of power out of that engine. There's absolutely no way that you can avoid turbo lag with that much mass and that little displacement. It's just too large and heavy. Why this is important is that this means that the CVT is under a lot of stress already. Add in 5-7 passengers, fuel and fluids and it's dangerously close to 2000 kilos. I fear that this will be a very problematic drivetrain with a short life.
ОтветитьHave one on order. Drives very nice, like the looks but Honda Aust let owners down with the specs available elsewhere. No auto folder door mirrors, no auto locking doors, no 360 deg camera and no blind spot camera showing on the screens and the biggest yuk is the ugly bland rear bumper on any model below the VTi-lx.
Ответитьyeah nah gear shift will always better than buttons, every car should have one
ОтветитьDrove one and the loud growly engine is real turnoff, its way louder than our RM model with the atmo 2.4L engine, crazy that a 10 year old model outguns this new more expensive model in engine refinement. I'm on the fence with the new CRV.
ОтветитьHow tall is this guy?
ОтветитьI like Honda , the first car I drove was a Honda Civic back in 1988, it was great. My first motorcycle was a Honda MTX 125 cc , also great back in 1988. I like the design, but not a big fan of CVT , I prefer regular auto transmission . The price too is crazy, close to $60,000 for the top spec models ? That’s a LOT of money. As much as I like Honda I don’t see myself dropping 60 grand for one.
ОтветитьUSA soccer mom car . Should sell in droves
ОтветитьCvt? No thanks. If it had an auto, absolutely it looks great. Great back-seat space and pretty big boot is all let down by the cvt.
ОтветитьWith only 240Nm its never going to feel fast.
Ответитьand your opinion is?!
ОтветитьVolkswagen..... Vw has cheap interiors, lot of hard plastic. Honda has one of the best interior quality of mainstream brands, except for Mazda and of course the premium brands.
ОтветитьLack of AWD on Hybrid is a massive let down. Has Honda learnt nothing from Toyota's success? Other than that, and lack of spare on Hybrid very nice.
ОтветитьWill you be doing a proper review with the hybrid model to see how it really stands up to the Rav4. Otherwise there is really no need to drop the Rav4 into this video at all.
ОтветитьThe CVT durability (or lack thereof) is the weakest link in the powertrain. Id take a Mazda CX50
ОтветитьNot swapping it for my CX-5.
1.5 litre is not enough and a CVT, no thanks.
“You can tell it’s made by the same company that makes the type R” LOL. Not even the logo is tha same 😂
ОтветитьReview is for non turbo, shows video of red hybrid model
ОтветитьCRV is always been better than RAV4.
Ответить3 letters of doom, CVT! 😒
Ответитьisn't it your job as a reviewer to answer the questions you posed in your conclusion?
Ответитьdog-nose plastic... im gonna use that a lot from now
