Thanks for a helpful and straightforward presentation! Looking forward to following you online as I embark on my grant-writing mission.
ОтветитьThank you, enjoying your videos and learning tons! 😊
ОтветитьHow is the best way to find a good local grant writer?
ОтветитьSuper valuable.
ОтветитьThanks Amber! Does anyone know of a way to have someone look over my grant proposal after writing one? I don't have a mentor to go to.
ОтветитьThank you, guide me how to learn more from you
ОтветитьJust learned about grant writing! Omg I’m so excited to learn how to do this. My non-profit will be able to get started when I had no idea where or how to start! ❤
ОтветитьHi Amber
Do you have a personal account I can make contact with you, I have some questions.
With the development of "Go Fund Me" isn't it easier to go that route as opposed to waiting for funds from various grant sources that may or may not be profitable?
ОтветитьI'm officially a big fan now💌
ОтветитьCan you create a link with a sample of how you'll format it please?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much for your videos Amber 🥰
I have just started my brain storm for setting non profit organisation to help build a hospital back home in Africa to treat kids with tumours.
I am genuinely lost 😞
Thank You for the great tips
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThanks 👍 for the good job
ОтветитьHi. am abdikadir nonprofit founder and chairman how can I get funding for new ngo in African and tips
ОтветитьGreat tips. My favorite two are “just answer the question” and “show how additional support will move the npo forward.”
The 7th item I’d add is follow up—confirm the foundation received the npo’s application AND put together a 6-month and a 12-month report showing how the support has benefited the npo, as we are often hoping to grow the relationship with the foundations over future years.
The one challenge I often see is fundraisers struggling to find general operations funds vs. program-specific funds, as many more foundations tend to bend towards program specific grants vs. npos, who prefer general operations funding. When this happens, I usually have to show them how to package parts of their general operations into a pseudo program with goals, objectives, rationales, short-term & long-term measurements, who’s responsible for what, and timelines. It’s not a quick process because often many npos don’t think in this fashion, more emotional driven and less numbers driven.
Thank you
