I didn't play SMRPG until I was in college 20 years after its release. Seeing this made me SOB. No nostalgia goggles, just pure love for the game

I went to gamestop to get a new ps5 controller replacement with the warranty and you how they try to sell you on pre order or some bs and at the bottom of the page I seen mario rpg... and said what is this and he showed me the trailer on thier computer and I lost my mind in the store.

Geno is overrated. I could never understand why he was focused on but not Mallow.

I love the fake-out at the beginning. It makes you think that "Oh cool, they're bringing Super Mario RPG to NSO, that's awesome." And then, Nintendo blows your goddamn mind, and it's like you're a kid again!

Way to many different reacts. Its like 5 minutes of reacts for each 10 seconds of trailer. It gets old. Would be much more effective if it was like 4 or 5 people

You know its hilarious in a mundane way, this is a remake of the original mario rpg and is completely faithful to it people are loving it, but when pokemon does the same thing these same people get angry and say boycott nintendo, if think oh no thats isnt true they did the same thing with links awakening the loved it, but hated brilliant diamond and shining pearl saying they are the worst pokemon games ever😑

ngl, i also teared up at this reveal, ir's something that i didnt think would ever happen, due to Square/Enix holding the rights to multiple characters.

people go nuts over a game is $60, i don't go crazy intill it's out because i don't want to get disappointed if the game get push back intill 2024

Based on the horrible link's awakening remake I don't have high hopes for this.

It makes me happy seeing everyone have a crazy reaction of super Mario rpg released in 1996 gets a remake when I first played the original I became a fan of this game. A game I can never forget and my blind reaction was just as crazy as the internet 😊

The overreaction is cringe of the highest order. You can be excited without the need to scream, it comes across fake. Also the ones who started crying, should seek help.

I remember I just figured out this game existed maybe like a month or 2 ago and I thought, “I wish they would release this to the SNES emulator on switch, it looks so cool” then like not to long after this comes out and I didn’t watch Nintendo Direct so I only figured out a week after the trailer came out

This is exactly what I want(ed) for remakes of FF3/6, Chrono Trigger and FF7, keep is a simple 1:1 Remake of the original with updated graphics, fix things like typos and translation mistakes and maybe clean up the UI, that is all I want. Not that FF7 remake isn't a good game but it wasn't what I was hoping for.

This may sound bad but Super Mario Rpg actually taught me to read. Lol
