Getting Around Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) - Complete Airport Tour

I have a question can you please answer this.

I have a layover and connecting flight here. Do i still need to collect my check in baggage? I have different airlines Japan Airlines and American Airlines.


And also do i still need to go in immigration?

i’m flying for the first time by myself from europe to dallas and i’ll have to check in my bags again and go through security. My layover is 2 1/2, do you think it’s enough?

1st September I will fly from DFW to Narita Tokyo, but on my ticket paper. It is not written which terminal I should to go. Just say 'not available' What terminal do I have to go to.
Can anyone help? 😀

DFW is HUGE, but it's simple to get around which is nice.

If I’m flying American Airlines from Houston to Tulsa with a layover in DFW, what terminal will I be in? (Assuming it’s a short flight)

I flew into DWF for the first time alone & I was terrified! Lol

I was here about 2 weeks ago and I can say that terminal c is the worst because of how hot it was. Terminal D however is the my favorite because it has a nice variety of food and shops but the sky link is just horrible it’s so hot in that thing and very rocky . It was fun being there but not for 13 hours 😐

For those curious, the only states DFW does not serve are West Virginia, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

When they built terminal D. I was sitting in view of the escalater. This older woman was at the bottom of the stairs and screamed OH HELL NO. I laughed and walked to her and said. Ma'am There is an elevator over their. She gave me a hug.

DFW connects directly to many smaller cities in Mexico too. Most of these flights are out of terminal B because they are small planes.

Big airport to be the size of the island of Manhattan.

I am planing to go from Kansas city to Sri Lanka through American airline.I have two transits in between kansas city and (Colombo - Sri lanka).first is DFW and second is Frankfurt. So i am just wondering whether i will have a security checking like TSA again at DFW prior to have my next flight from DFW to Frankfurt. Could u plz gv an idea on that?

DFW is on the northern county line of Dallas and Tarrant Counties, just halfway between both core cities of the Metroplex. I like how the airport was placed back in the '60s and '70s when it was constructed at that time.

I like how the terminals are positioned like that, but I'm still waiting for Terminal F to be complete soon.

I hope they renovate terminal C soon.

I work at this airport. Always feels weird when I’m at other airports. Other than ATL and ORD, they all feel tiny

For me as an av geek living in Berlin it is a must to see this huge airport. It's unbelivable to operate 7 ( ! ) active runways. I guess that 3 of them are for take off only. So they have 2 x 2 pairs for parallel operations.

Any information for handicapped seniors to get around the airport and bring their luggage?
