Great work on this project design! I’m currently printing out v2 with doing SLA on the buttons, 3d printing of the framework and laser of the button text and frame sides. I couldn’t find your sheet for the mobi reference entries. Do you have that to download . Also would it include the parameters for the hat switch?
Ответитьthis is so sick and i'm defniitely going to make one, i don't think i want a whole cockpit but i def want a real life mfd or pfd or maybe both lol
ОтветитьThis is amazing, I don't even have 1% of the skill needed to do this😂
ОтветитьThank God for smart people... well done bro
ОтветитьWow that is awesome ,your certainly very skilled and knowledgeable
ОтветитьHey mate! Awesome build!!! Was just wondering a ballpark figure on how much this all cost to make? Thanks!
Ответитьi looove that cable managment :)
ОтветитьDoes this work with X-Plane too?
ОтветитьAre you sharing the CAD files for this project?
ОтветитьHello sir I would like to ask you if there is any chance possible from you for cutting and engraving three parts for me please on the island I am there is nothing like this to do that for now I made one autopilot in a carton box but I will be happy having one which resembles the original one please if needed will save money if needed to pay please thanking you in advance
Ответитьthis is art
ОтветитьGreat!
ОтветитьQuestion: Do they make a set of volume pots with a push button as well? I'm in the process of printing this, and was curious. I believe on the real G1000 you push to ID a NAV aid. Thanks!
ОтветитьWell, your work is really amazing! Countless hours went in your projects, you made it really approchables!
ОтветитьAwesome work! Out of curiosity, I noticed that the refresh rate of the G1000 that you built, seems to be...low? (I noticed it from the jumps that the airspeed did).
Is it possible to choose a monitor that has a higher refresh rate?
Again, loved the video!
Hun its raning and am going out to my shed on nothing just if the Police comes am building a plane cockpit lol
ОтветитьSo here's my favorite part. This fellow... an absolute multi-discipline polymath is hand-crafting an incredibly complex one-of-a-kind device. We're nearly 30 mins deep. There's been 3d modeling, prep, printing, curing, painting, filing, SOURCING, assembly, wiring, QC checks, coding, synching with the simulator.... And what's the reaction? "...switch it over into the active... HOW SIMPLE IS THAT?! That's one encoder and two buttons working... SO SIMPLE! Now it's just [repeating those steps a couple dozen times]...!" HAHAH. Dude. Love it. I loved flying the G1000 during flight school. Having one on the desk would be fantastic. This is inspirational levels of ingenuity, and I'm all in for flexing all of those skill sets. But "HOW SIMPLE IS THAT?" 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьPlease do you have a discord channel?
ОтветитьAs an American, I must say I absolutely appreciate the metric system. It has introduced a greater precision in every project I make. So, England BAD for the inherited imperial system, but thanks for the English language and being a predecessor and mentor of the metric system. Base 10, baby !
ОтветитьI'm down for building a couple of these but I want the complete version with the joystick part you excluded. I don't even see the optional info in the build files. (I want the GDU 1045 PFD/GDU 1045 MFD (GFC 700 autopilot installed with VNAV).
ОтветитьAmazing build! Almost looks approachable! The wiring harness is a little intimidating a video on that process would be really interesting. Also I see on your website there is a V2 is there going to be a video on that? Thanks for the great content!
ОтветитьVery cool. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
ОтветитьDamn now I'm seriously considering adding a Resin printer to my shop. Have a lot of reservations about working with resin though.
Ответитьdoes it work with xplane 12 or 11?
ОтветитьHi thats some awesome work there! Would be interesting to know what type of display that is and where you got it from?
Keep that awesome work up!
Hi there I am currently building the G1000 NXI from you r site. Just wanting to know how I get hold of the Pin out sheet you talk about in the video. Thanks in advance
Ответитьi just started my build, thanks Karl...
ОтветитьYour device reproductions are spectacular. Cheers, mate! :D
ОтветитьFantástic 👍
ОтветитьMan you rock!!!!!!
ОтветитьBrilliant work, and great to see the 'rat's nest' of wiring turn into neat wiring looms. Unfortunately I think any non-electronic simmers would be overwhelmed by the complexity of the wiring but can't think how PCBs could be used as people would likely source different switches and rotary encoders 😢. I'd definitely build 2 of these if I build a Simpit rather than go VR when a decent headset is available!
ОтветитьAs an avionics tech I appreciate your lacing cord skills. I am looking at making one of these G1000 panels in the near future. I've installed several G3X's and G500/600TXi's. Now I just have to make a G1000 for my home flight sim set up :D.
Ответитьoh boy stop that music!
ОтветитьWhat is the value of the potentiometer you use for volume?
It s not written in the parts guide
Hola heli. Has tenido algún problema con el panel de audio del G1000 configurándose con mobiflight?
ОтветитьThe cabling alone is an epitome of pride in your work! Thank you so much for sharing this and all your other videos.
ОтветитьI just found your channel, and wow I subscribed the moment I saw your workshop/playroom! The only problem is I will be stuck in a binge-viewing mode for a while. Diving in!
ОтветитьVery impressive! I want one 😂 talented and very knowledgeable
ОтветитьVery, Very Cool!
ОтветитьCan you do this for a G3X Touch? I'm building a RV-14A and I'd love to have a sim of this without spending another $5k for a real unit.
ОтветитьYou are our hero. We appreciate your experience, skills, and sharing it with us along with your smile. Thank you.
ОтветитьPlease let me know if you’d make two of them and quote me please incl. shipping to Pennsylvania, US, or how do I contact you in dm
ОтветитьHow anda where i can buy your product? Thanks
ОтветитьHello!
Your work is very good, allow me a question, which yarn did you use, please could you indicate the link to purchase!
A great weekend!!!
Thanks for these great videos!
This is a great video, I'm trying to create my own flight simulator and was just thinking about how the simulator g1000s are too expensive but then I came across this video
ОтветитьThese builds are becoming less and less relevant as many if not most people are using VR in MSFS and other sims 🤷♂️
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible!
Ответитьis there any chance to get a high res wiring diagram for the V2?
ОтветитьThis is my new favorite channel
