I need help with removing the floating side cart icon. I don't need it but I can not find a way to remove it. Can anyone help?

It's never worked for me when put in the child theme functions.php as most of these instructions recommend. I've seen this script all over the internet. Alternatively, in each product the Product Data can be changed to External/Affiliate and then you can change the Buy Now text to something like 'View' but you still get a box with 'View' in it and for that to work, you need to put a URL in the row above that so it goes to the product's URL. And it's a product by product process, not bulk. So I'm still looking for something global.

When i remove products from my shopping cart, woocommerce gives me a notification that the product has been removed. Is there a way to turn off these notifications because it lookes ugly as hell on my store website?
