That sandworm is always brutal for multistrike but the draw it gets against the monk is rather insane. (Day 4 waiting to see your reaction to the start of the assassin!)

In-game, that orb of vision play was probably "Seeing his foe grow stronger with every hit, the monk paused, and looked within."

Comment for the lord algo-gator in the sky! This one felt the most monk-ey, heaps of hits, specalised weapon and bracers.

@reto: I just had to say that I am really enjoying this series. Honestly, I didn't think I was going to like this game, but it is amazing what they can do with just a deck of cards/

That's a great build. Just missing one more thing to really wreck that last group of opponents your current one doesn't, and I'm not sure what that is. Hopefully, you can recover the health damage you took in the boss fight. Shouldn't that sword being 2 attacks be reported as a bug? It doesn't say up-to-2-cards. It doesn't list the damage as individual either. That was the thing that almost got you killed, and the game is tough enough in classic when you aren't facing a bug too.

This was an awesome run, powerful. The best thing that you could have done to make it the best run is just upgrade GEM draw as much as you can, if you had like 7 cards for 1 gem that would be bonkers, you would draw the entire deck really fast. You already used 1 gem every 2 turns on average.
To highlight some mistakes on the sandworm boss: for pummel, if you really want to use it then at least use it with Aces , not with 3 or 2s or low cards, you want to attack once or twice per turn, take it slow, use the rest of the abilities when he has a chance to flush. You instead attacked with all the lower cards before using any Aces on pummel. Should have just used the couples sword each turn and just waited it out, it's a patience game with this boss.

Here I was going "Nono, hit the sandwurm hard but not often, how can you not see that?" ...and then you had the orb of vision insight, which had me going "How did I not see THAT?".

Loved the run!

Orb of visions and pummel are very cool conceptually in the game. Like they work very differently than everything else we've seen. Idt we've had a reusable item before, and the way it upgrades is interesting. And just. Orb of visions
