NEW Tesla Model 3 Performance Finally Released 0-60mph in 2.9s | Time to Upgrade

Ok, so I think the new M3P looks great. Love the seats, the heating and venting, the mag ride dampers, bigger brakes and alcantera inserts on the doors, ambiance lighting etc,... Not to mention the price and the increase in performance. However,…Tesla or the media I should say hyped us up for a performance model 3 that suggested 412ish horsepower for the new rear motor and the same 200ish horsepower in the front. But, we didn’t get 600+ horsepower we only got 510 ish which is an increase of about what 60ish hp (510hp) and about 60ish more ft lbs of torque (547tq). In a world where excess is barely enough. Now, with that being said. I know this M3P is going to be awesome when companies start running tests on the car. However what I’d love to know is. Has anyone heard of a M3P boost package that will increase the power to 600+? Now, I know it’s early and the M3P hasn’t even been out a week yet. Honestly though, I was hoping for a M3P that can break the sub 11 second barrier and give a stock Nissan GTR a run for it's money for less than half the price. Possibly even reach into the high to mid 10s in the standing 1320. Asking too much? Anyone?

I don't go to the tracks, I'm disapointed by the 0 to 100 kmph number compared to the previous M3P, I prefer the non perf front facia and the difference in range between LR and perf si significant. Bottom line, if I were to buy a M3 it would be the LR. Perf is for people who go on tracks

Kind of disappointed on the mileage hoping to be at least 330.

This is great! My only gripe is staggered wheel size and summer tires. Wont be able to rotate and gonna need to switch to all seasons to drive in winter.

John the Santa Monica store has one. Looks really good in person. Wheels are still terrible but maybe ok with plastic removed. Ludicrous badge has a nice blue tint. The sport seats feel SO good. Huge difference than normal.

Ordered at around 1030 pst. Called tesla directly after to confirm, no 19 in wheels yet 😐. But if they release them before delivery, it just takes a call to swap out. 20 in wheels and chicago potholes = no bueno haha

Does anyone know if the driver's seat has an adjustable lumbar bolster like the prior Model 3 Performance and other Model 3's?

Price is great but 500hp is disappointing. Hopefully, they'll be a boost upgrade option to 600hp

John I just smashed the button for the Stealth Gray Black Interior. My M3LR is Blue which I liked and i think all the colors are good but I wanted to try the gray, to be stealth. I want to thank you for all your time and hard work constantly bringing us updates on this release. sometimes we can become frustrated if the exact dates are not met which is no way your fault but by far you have been the most accurate content provider out here and the number one guy to follow. You had all these dates nailed pretty well the whole way and you always have a positive upbeat attitude. thanks again.

In Germany, the Model 3 Performance is €7,000 more expensive than the Model 3 Long Range and doesn't have any federal tax credit. Additionally, it's significantly pricier than in the USA, starting at €54,000. Outrageous!

My total actually came out to $62,668 with all fees, tax and license. If I end up making less than $300k doubtful then it will drop down to $54,918 out the door with the fed tax credit. Nonetheless , still a pricey toy. Can’t wait to hear media reviews of what Im buying 😂
