WATCH: McClintock claims Mueller made political case against Trump in Russia investigation

Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., accused former special counsel Robert Mueller of failing to provide the underlying evidence to support the conclusions made in his report that detailed his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and President Donald Trump’s actions that could have constituted obstruction of justice. “It’s starting to look like having desperately tried and failed to make a legal case against the president, you made a political case instead,” McClintock said to Mueller. Mueller responded: “I don’t think you will have reviewed a report as thorough, as fair, as consistent as the report that we have in front of us.”
