How did you go about taping into the green plug?

Use the Yellow Sunroof Wire in the drivers side A-pillar, even if you don't have a sunroof it's there behind a little tape. It's off the RAP Relay which will work great.

Do you like the radio? I installed a touchscreen. It has no knobs. Its more of a pain to raise and lower the volume whole drive to have to look at the radio, find the plus sing, and then tap it while driving. It came with a remote but it is not lighted. And I lost it already.

i installed a new radio everything is wired correctly only it wont power onbat all now the only thing thats not connected is the vehicle antenna now does it need the antenna for power stupid question i know but 🤔 after so many radios installed never had this happened any ideas 🥴🥴😁

Why isn’t the ignition wire not already directed to the existing radio wiring harness? And why does it need to be modified for the aftermarket radio?

Any recommendation on speakers that would pair nicely with this stereo without adding an amp? 2005 Colorado with the tweeters in the front upper door panels. Would like to replace tweeters, front, and rear doors for a complete new system for my daughter.

I’m doing a install like this but non Bose system with PAC gm1a-r in trying to figure out what is my amp wire from the truck. I connected the blue to the blue and white and my it works but I turn my volume to max to barely hear any sound. Any suggestions?

So there were 2 plugs going into the factory radio. So the smaller plug is not used at all in the Sony hook up and just sits free behind the new radio install, correct?

Will the Metra 70-2003 wiring harness work on a 2012 WT Colorado?

Hello. I had an aftermarket double din Boss radio installed to replace my original radio just like you did in my ‘05 Chevy Colorado. A local company did it and as a result I don’t have a door chime anymore. So when my lights are on and I open my doors there is no chime to remind me. I went back to the installers and they said I need a special harness…I don’t really believe them but now I’ve left my lights on numerous times and killed my battery. Any thoughts?

I'm having an issue I got a dual Electronics xvm279bt head unit for my 2006 gmc canyon and I got all of the wire connected to were they go and I got it working yesterday and when I was coming home from work my door speakers stopped playing sound and the only sound I get is from my subs and idk what's causing it I really need help
