This is delicious! I was out of carrots, so I used red cabbage instead, and cumin instead of cinnamon and it turned out great.
ОтветитьI pray for that also Refika. Please be well and thank you for all of the delicious recipes. They are opening my eyes to different ways of putting food together.
ОтветитьCan you show how to make rice Turkish way? We often eat at a Turkish restaurant and they bring
kebabs and rice always delicious. I dont know how exactly they make it, possibly a lot of butter/oil? And I am too shy to ask 😊
I believe that you have cooked a very delicious rice with vegetables. But I'm sorry to say that - this is not an Uzbek Pilaf. Even when you cook it without meat, the onion and the carrot must be fried on a high heat till brown. We do not grate carrots through a grater, but cut them into strips so that they retain their shape after roasting. And no pilaf is cooked without cumin.
Once again, I'm sorry for saying that. Your dish is worth to be, but when you taste the real Uzbek Pilaf (Osh, Plov, Palov) once, you will never forget it.
Thank you for caring about the environment Rafika
ОтветитьFrom romania warm hugs and I wish you a good New year full of happynes. I made today this rice .wow wow I said .this recipes is like a rainbow on my mouth , full of flavored someting which I never eat.i just have one Word. Thanks Refika for all your recipe and your hard work, bring us Turkiye in our plate.
ОтветитьRefika a question please. Do you have access to or have you cooked with Canadian wild rice? I have made a pilaf from a Greek recipe with this rice because God has blessed me with an abundance of it. It turned out delicious! I would like to send you some if you have no access to it but I would need an address. Thank you Refika I bless you.
ОтветитьRegula you are the best
ОтветитьI'm going to try to make this recipe with hearts of palm, wich me luck:)
ОтветитьHmmm. Cinnamon powder added to the rice, interesting! I am surely going to try that. As an Indian from west of India our khichdi would be similar but without Cinnamon.
And Amen to 2024 being a peaceful year for all🙏
What type of rice are you using for the pilaf?
I'm thinking of making this with roast leg of lamb.
Nice recipe. Do love carrots. Please focus on food. I know what is going on in the world. Sad. But I watch cooking videos for a break. Thank you for caring.
ОтветитьFirst, your hair style looks nice.
Second, I had the opportunity to prepare something similar to that dish while I never knew about it before now. I added coarse burgel, not rice, to those same ingredients and the result was good. I felt it needed some sauce to accompany that dish but I couldn’t come up with something special that could enhance the good combination of carrot and burgul.
I am from Syria and this dish is not known there, but it deserves a try.
Thank you for the good stuff❤
Love the sweater, Santa was Turkish, right?

Ответитьlove this easy yummy recipe with rice and chicken.
Ответитьthanks for sharing. peace!
ОтветитьCan’t wait to prepare this rice! Looks amazing. Love the combination of flavors in dressing it too. Thank you for the final wishes. Yes, there’s too much conflict and chaos. Let’s hope, as you say, that organizations and people will come together next year with a better vision and solutions
ОтветитьWhy is this pilav is “uzbek”? It’s extremely far from the uzbek pilav in any forms. I think it’s pretty cool but it’s VERY far away from uzbek-style pilav
ОтветитьTHANK U for the recipe
In sha allah, may allah grant peace, mercy & harmonies to every humanbeing in this world❤❤
👏🏻👏🏻👌👌❤️🌻❤️🌻🎄🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьYou want to criticize capitalism while on a monetized platform and selling cheap wares on Amazon! That's incredible. Consider this many year subscriber gone.
ОтветитьI see the inspiration, but this is not an uzbek pilaf.
ОтветитьWell, I want to sound realistic. As long as nations sell armaments to other nations, the notion of peace is unrealistic. It is useless to beat around the bush. We cannot evoke peace until we abandon the culture of producing and selling armaments. That's what Pope Francis said at today's Angelus in Vatican City.
Anyways, thanks a lot Refika, and your crew. Wishing you all a merry Christmas 🎅 ❤🎄 Take care.
In Shaa Allah. God bless
Ответить😘🙏🙏
ОтветитьИнтересно предложение, но не е традиционен узбекски пилаф, такъв какъвто съм яла в Узбекистан. Просто оризова интерпретация.
