Sorry, but I don’t agree with you. The 16” is neither too big nor too heavy.

Just curious why you went with 14" vs 16". I know you mentioned "screen real estate" as crucial for programming. I'm leaning towards a refurb 16" MBP M1 Pro and feel that its screen size, better speakers and battery is the ideal choice- especially if its your main display/daily driver, but if using an external display on a desk, then the 14" is the better choice.

I’m new user to mac. Looking for mac for ios development. I only concern about performance. Should i choose M1 Pro 14 16/512 or M2 Pro 14 16/512 ?? I seen online said M2 Pro ssd slower than M1 Pro.

I’ve just bought M1 Macbook Pro 14” over M2 Macbook Pro 13” (with 512gb/16gb RAM). But I kind of doubt now whether it was the right decision 😅 I need it for drawing/animation/a little 3D and ppl had very different opinions on what was better to choose... M1 Pro 14” seemed more balanced to me than M2 Pro 13”. Can anyone advise? Should I get M2 Pro 13” or just use the M1 one and upgrade in 2 years or so
