one thing that would really add to the look (if anyone were to use this build) is a rocking chair! it could be near the fire, or you could have a couple on the front porch, or left in the kid's room from when they were young. i don't have the sims so i don't even know if there are actually rocking chairs in the game, but i just wanted to bring up the idea :)

I really don't think it's excessive for some. I mean, I'm a librarian, my partner's an English professor, and together we have over 35 full-size bookshelves. So this sort of looks like our home. haha

I'm gonna conplain about the sism 4 gallery. You can't sort by just packs you own ! I just have the basegame and vampires so if I want to find something that just uses vampires I have to sort through all the stuff with packs I don’t own. There is a button on the gallery that says it sorts by owned but it actually just shows everything. even if you individually just click on the packs you own it dosen't work.

I only add bookshelves to give my sims easy ways to gain skills. Mostly because the bookshelves have been either boring or weird. This kit would tempt me into adding bookshelves as decor.

I enjoy the two new Kits. I haven't explored using them as much, but the content I saw on your video makes me want to use the items. Your house looks nice Kayla. I have some suggestions on improving it. first I would add a rocking chair to any room with books. For the corner bookshelf, I would place a thick column to fill the corner space or place a bookshelf on and angle.

The fact that they can't be stacked to the ceiling without clipping into the upper floor just shows how little care goes into the Sims 4 now. The items are nice and the house looks great, but that complete lack of attention to detail by the creators is so frustrating.

You don't have to apologize for Snap walking in front of the camera! Snap is the amazing random VIP that shows up, and everytime I see Snap, i get even happier than i already am while watching your video's.

My go-to curtains in the base game are the tied off ones that are normally rainbow. They have a nice cream color that I like.

I wish the walls were like when you put down floors. Where you could choose one square or a quarter of a square and not just 2/3 wide from floor to ceiling. Imagine the cool designs that would come out

I love this house; however...it does bother me just a little that you have a chimney...with a shower in it...and both fireplaces are on the opposite side of the house from it...

Also, as for the windows over the fireplace, they do look good, but unless it's a fake fireplace, it would never happen in real life...because there would be a chimney there...actually, even a fake fireplace probably wouldn't have windows above it because that would kind of make it obvious it was fake...

Imagine: A single sim who’s dining room has been taken over by books. The kitchen is slowly being taken over, bed was moved into the small office because the bedroom is now the library

Does anyone else have the glitch happening where if your sim has a grill, people who come over will just obsessively make destressing concoctions? Or just my game? 😅

I definitely get the vibe that the book room at the front of the house was supposed to be the dining room, but these sims decided they needed books more 😂
