Amazing Scale! process of mass production of rebar. Korean Steel Factory

This process seems crazy inefficient with many underutilized or redundant steps. Like heating the small rolling cuts, lifting ALL of the rods when just trying to move one, or how many manual labour steps there are at the start.

This process could easily be cut in half.
On top of that, why are they importing steel to process and reheat? This should be done at the forge while the material is still hot.

always wondered how they produced rebar haha, we use steel rebar and other type of steel at my job, we make steel grids for concrete and a bunch of other steel things, idk how you call them in english
